GLC [Official] Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé

The Mercedes-Benz GLC is a compact luxury crossover SUV introduced in 2015 for the 2016 model year that replaced the GLK-Class. According to Mercedes-Benz, it is the SUV equivalent to the C-Class.
Hm. I suppose this is the least ugly execution of the 5dr-hatchback-on-stilts theme, which is not saying much...

Upon first acquaintances better looking exterior-wise than the X4. Although I think I said the same of the GLE Coop and then changed my mind.
Interior - there is no competition here - the GLC blows the X4 away for visual pizzazz and the C-class fascia is better suited to the elegant demeanor of the coupe SUV than it is to the regular GLC.

It is, it has to be said, remarkable in its copy-paste similarity to the GLE - though this probably a good thing for sales. Right now it looks to be the pick of the class (as small as that class may be...)

I think I've found what I'm going to replace my W205 with when the lease ends. It looks all kinds of sexy in the Brilliant Blue color!

Some info for the UK, from Autocar. :)

Shortly after its UK launch, the model will receive further engine options, including a more powerful version of the 2.0-litre petrol engine with 242bhp in the GLC 300 4Matic Coupé and a turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 diesel with 254bhp and 457lb ft in the GLC 350 d.

Also under development is a petrol-electric-powered GLC 350 e 4Matic Coupé plug-in hybrid model that is claimed to provide a zero-emissions range of up to 19 miles and a 0-62mph time of 5.9sec. It combines the GLC 250 4Matic Coupé’s 2.0-litre petrol engine and a gearbox-mounted electric motor for a combined system output of 315bhp.

Heading the line-up at first will be the GLC 43, the first of two planned AMG models. It runs a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine with 362bhp and 383lb ft, which is sufficient to provide the GLC 43 with a claimed 0-62mph time of less than five seconds.

Mercedes-AMG sources have also confirmed to Autocar the existence of plans for an even more powerful GLC 63 4Matic Coupé. It will receive AMG’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine producing up to 503bhp.

ok i hate these cars, bmw started this sh with the x6..but out of them all this one is the nicest.. it sits pretty low and looks muscular and wide.. much better than the bigger brother.

but i wouldn't be caught dead in these SAVs or whatever they call it, but hey if it sells maybe they can make an even more baller ass S class for example... so im happy anyway
