GLB [Official] Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class

The Mercedes-Benz GLB (model code X247) is a crossover SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz. The GLB is positioned between the GLA and the larger GLC in size, however unlike these vehicles the GLB is equipped with optional third row seating due to better space distribution.
I suspect many buyers will be asking themselves the same thing. Both of them will sell to their respective fans. The GLB needs a hardcore off road package option imo.

The cheap interior materials is what kills me on these models. Considering the “S Class of SUVs” now even has a hard plastic lower door trim, I guess it’s the way of the future.

GLB 35 4MATIC WITH 306 HP

The GLB 35 4MATIC from Mercedes-AMG is based on the AMG Line of the model, but with AMG-specific radiator trim, front splitter and trim elements on the slats in the outer air intakes in silver chrome, as well as an AMG rear apron with two round tailpipe trims with a diameter of 90 millimeters and one trim in the side and rear in silver chrome. The model rolls on standard 19″ AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels (painted tantalum gray, with a high-sheen finish with 235/50R19 on 8Jx19 ET49). In addition, an AMG brake system (4 piston fixed caliper at the front, 350 × 34 mm, and 1-piston floating caliper on the rear axle 330 × 22 mm) is installed in the exterior, as well as a loading edge protection in silver chrome and an AMG roof spoiler in black (high-gloss). The interior of the series includes: sports seats with upholstery in ARTICO man-made leather / black DINAMICA microfibre with red double stitching and red seat belts, multifunction sports steering wheel in nappa leather (flattened below). An AMG menu of the MBUX multimedia system offers additional information such as gear display, warm-up menu, setup menu and G-meter with race timer and engine data. The speedometer itself reaches up to 280 km / h.

The third row of seats is also available for the AMG model, but not in conjunction with the auxiliary heating and the towbar. When starting, the model basically starts in “Silent Start” mode.

Nice review from Doug. The second row seems very spacious (he is 6ft 4inch) and had plenty of room in front his knees. 3rd row is a bit cramped and only suitable for people under 169cm tall, which is probably ok for smaller people and kids. Nice butch mini G Class styling. Probably one of the most versatile and practical vehicles in this class.

Can't believe car nerds are going crazy over a FWD van. Why? Because it has a Mercedes badge?

Because it’s an incredibly well packaged SUV that has seven seats and a giant boot but is affordable. There is no other German premium SUV like it.
