Maybe now we understand the “crack” in the fender

OUCH !!

...and the black car with the 22"s' pictured above (quite acceptable looking, really) exemplifies just how much of a visual improvement more thoughtfully placed shutlines would bring. That may have been worth a minimal hike in the drag coefficient. And sorry, that windscreen fluid clap looks no bueno.

Over engineered for such a low usage thing...

Some of us refill it maybe like 3-4 times at most , a year...

Are you saying that hiding a lid by doubling it as the emblem is over-engineered, or the M-B solution is?

How sweet retribution can be. I was crushed when it was revealed that the EQS did not feature a frunk. This is "carma".

Ok. They are both kinda silly, but at least with BMW, it's discreet and mildly whimsical. With the EQS, I initially thought it was a charge port of some sort. Then we were told it's for the windshield cleaning solution, and I thought that was a bit much, but ok.

Waking up this morning, I wasn't expecting to go into a deep dive regarding windshield wiper fluid placement, but here we are. Life's full of little surprises.

Heavily-pinched front subframe. No idea what M-B shops would charge for straightening (if possible) or replacement (if possible). In any event, it won't buff right out.

Lots of R&D people re-solving the wireless charging of the batteries, replacing the entire pack in minutes or wired roads to recharge them while we roll, but no one, none of them! thinking about how to make the wiper fluid recharge itself!
