You could get more with lower average speed, but 478 miles only in their dreams. 300, maybe 350 mile range is not bad, but there are no miracles. Today's electric motors and inverters already operate at 95%+ efficiency and all the EVs are already very aerodynamic. There are gonna be only very marginal improvements in that area going forward. Battery energy density has also barely improved in the last 10 years and it's not gonna magically double over night. So to get an electric range of a car, simply look at the size/weight of the car and then at the size of the battery. That will get you 80-90% there.
