Ok now I understand, so it seems that they did not do very well in life

It will sell to a certain customer for sure, just not Mercedes-Benz traditionalists. Admittedly a dying breed at this point.

Sonder you will really photoshop every new picture appearing about the car? I get that you like it so much and wanna show people that it’s nice but you are only discrediting the car this way even more....

- yes i will, do u have a problem?
- no i dont wanna show people nothing, i dont give a f* what they are thinking
- not true. Period.

I think I figured the plot for this car - Wagner got high one day and fell into a hot tub time machine, woke up in LA in the 2000s surrounded by Hondas and Fords and then came back just in time to finish the EQS...

Creative thinking @Sunny ?
And though funny, in fact it’s quite sad, because if I didn’t know better, one could be inclined to think that’s exactly what happened. The more I see it, the more appalled at it I am...

Maybe Gorden was listening to Donovans' "Mellow Yellow" at the time. "E-lec-trical ba-nan-a-is gonna be a sudden craze-E-lec-trical ba-nan-a-is bound to be the very next phase...".

These are very unflattering shots of the EQS. The Tesla S parked next to it, featuring an exterior design that has (save some facelifts) been accessable to consumers for the past 9 some years, really highlights the awkward ungainliness of the EQS' exterior. Franz von Holzhausen and his team presented an impressive piece of automotive exterior design-and the Tesla S has aged so gracefully.

EQS looks like someone put an air hose into it, turned on a generator and made sure no air could escape from the car for like a week. What a tragic blob.

Didn’t he (Robert Lesnik) design the W222 as well?

Indeed. :)

The cab-forward design features a short nose, the angled, one-piece aluminum clamshell hood rising aggressively to flow into a steeply raked windshield. Instead of a traditional, two- or three-box layout, the look is like that of a single bow line, explained Robert Lesnik, who led the exterior design effort.
