Is it possible to disable this message through settings from displaying whenever I shift to N ?

I know it's forcing me to shift into P instead, but I'm used to shifting to N in every other car.

I know the service center can disable it, but for warranty reasons they won't.

I don't know the answer, but when do you shift into "N"?

Most of the time I go from D to N at a stop light or during heavy traffic.

Car doesn't roll back, it's just some sort of a warning / reminder that N won't hold the car still, which I am aware of.

Why don’t you just use the brake hold feature? You don’t have to continuously hold the brakes but you’re still in gear so all you have to do is press the accelerator when you’re ready to get moving again.

The w213 is officially 4 years old. Here is a picture of a base model E200 in Singapore. [ATT...
Crazy how times flies, the W213 has managed to look remarkably fresh, even if the exterior design is a bit dull on the standard spec.

Has anyone else noticed the engine Bore x Stroke on MBUSA is wrong ?

I think this goes back to the time when there are two versions of the "400" engine, one is the 3.0L V6 twin turbo, and the other is the 3.5 V6 twin turbo, they both have the same power and torque figure, but the peak torque arrives earlier on the 3.5L engine.

I agree with @Serpens , just use the hold feature which is a very useful feature, just press on the brake pedal until you see hold sign on at trafic lights, then remove your feet, now the car will no longer roll forward or backward.

To deactivate it just start accelerating normally, the hold will be released.

Note: pushing the brake again after hold will also deactivate it.

After almost 12 months, we have finally reached over 1000 km.

The weather was simply perfect today and I took the car for a long drive in the early afternoon, just to give it a proper run, and to get out of the house, during the difficult times we are all in.

The E 450 is a dream to drive in most situations. It is extremely refined, quiet, smooth, with effortless reserve of power whenever you need. There is a weightiness to the steering that is missing on the W205, and I do feel more connected and more confident to go fast around the corners.

Once the car has settled from the initial degree of body lean, you can feel the tires digging in and the grip from the 4WD system pulling the car around the corner. It won't dance around the corners, because you are always aware of the size and the weight of the car, but if you push it, it will be happy to follow you along. The best way I can summaries the experience is that it is noticeably more comfortable than the W211, with about 80% of the agility of the W205.

Fuel consumption isn't great, I am still averaging 14L/100km. I hope it will improve once the car is run in a bit more.

I will continue the update once I have more time next week.

Is there a typo? 1,000km in a year is way too low.

It isn't a typo my friend. It is just that I am the only person who drives, and the driving is split between the C250, E350, and E450.

Generally I drive the E350 to meet with clients and the daily trips. The C250 I drive on the weekends and the E450 I drive on the rare occasion when I have to drive my parents or when the road conditions are nice.
