So another question. Air Body Control is not available with the plug in hybrid.
Then I see agility control, it says not with P31 AMG exterior. If I check AMG exterior it has option 677 agility control with lowered suspension, but not available for E300de. So what kind of ride does the E300de get?

After a long and complicated story, we sold our E 400, and we just took delivery of our brand new E 450 today.

It is almost identical in spec except for the updated steering wheel design and the wood trim for the center console.

@Wolfgang, I remember reading an article posted by you possibly, about MB introducing the next generation of ceramic clear coat to be used on the CLS first and then to the rest of the range. I wonder if it has been applied to the 2019 E class because the silver looks a little bit more glossy to me.

Just a quick impression on the car so far. The wooden center console trim is a must, even if it took MB 2-3 years to sort it out. The gloss plastic trim really has no place in an E class.

The new steering wheel design does look high tech , but the large pieces of painted silver trim feels a little flimsy. And even with the touch pad to provide easier access and control, there ares till to many buttons on the steering wheel. I much prefer to activate the semi auto driving function with the stalk than using the buttons on the steering wheel.

That wooden console....big difference maker for the better. Silver on black on a Benz sedan is just timeless. Congrats to you and your fam!

Zetsche, Putin launch E-class plant in Russia

Mercedes-Benz on Wednesday opened an assembly plant in Russia, where it will build E-class sedans for the local market. Located in the Moscow region, the automaker invested over 250 million euros ($280 million) for the plant, which will employ over 1,000 people. SUV production will follow after the E-class, Mercedes said. Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche and Russian President Vladimir Putin were on hand for the grand opening on Wednesday. I heard from the dealership and I think on various places the facelift is a 2021 model, and will come June 2020??
