How was the ride and did the fit and finish impress?

It had the adaptive drive system which ranged from pretty sporty to very comfy. Ride was excellent as a passenger. Fit and finish high standard, and the whole thing just looked impressive and modern. Well done. I must add that the quality of the screens was high res and very crisp, but there's too many loading, and the UI a tad sluggish.

So @klier what are the positive things about the new E-class you can say? How is the interior quality, comfort, noise levels and that new engine, is it very refined and gutsy?

I saw the AMG and excellence version today. To differentiate yourself from all the taxis, you must get the AMG styling.
Was not blown away actually. More like "meh...", might be because I already have the C class with AMG styling, so not much is "new".

The analogue instruments i can live with, but that tiny central display ..... even an A class hatch has a bigger screen! ruins the whole interior - doesn't look right.

Notice that the LED can be operated only one strip from the above spy shots? I am not a fan of double strip LED in E-Class.

The rear bumper is a huge let down to me, from spy photo. C63 rear bumper is more sporty with airflow outlet.
