Those rear wheel arches needs to be flared.

I think Its going to be the same as C63. Coupe version is going to have flared wheel arches..not the 4-door version.

The M5 still looks very aggressive even without flared wheel arches, not sure I can say the same about the new E63.

The first prototype photos w213 body was in September 2014 ( around the same time of Panamera MK2, that has not presented yet), introduced in January 2016. Typically, a cycle lasts 2 years (w222 2,5 years). Mercedes decided to return to the times of the first A-class and save money on development???

What do you mean? Do you mean the time that was needed to develop the W213?

Yes,they obviously cut the development time!
For example BMW g30 first mule caught in July 2013(!!!!), a prototype in December 2014, and they present the car in November 2016

No, that is wrong. The development time of the W213 was four years, as long as the time that was needed for the W222.

How in the world does anyone here know what the development time is for the E-Class or any other car without being an employee? Just going by when you see the first cars on the road doesn't mean the development time started then.

Well the seats alone for the E Class they were developing for 10 years apparently...

I don't know how it works at Mercedes but at BMW before public testing begins they do around 6 months of internal testing of the first prototypes to break everything in as its known at the test track outside of Munich and at Miramas.

Exactly both M5 and E63 have very wide tracks which you can see at the rear the wheels completely fill the arches. Anything extra would be design overkill and would look completely ridiculous like those aftermarket wide body kits.

The Long version for China and maybe India. No Maybach version is planned, though.

In the interior of the saloon, modern luxury has been stylishly reinterpreted for the Chinese market using high-class materials.

Just one year on from the world premiere of the GLC Coupé show car in Shanghai, the production version of the GLC Coupé is now making its debut in Asia. The GLC Coupé is a new and exceptionally sporty dream car from Mercedes-Benz´s constantly expanding range of SUVs. The combination of multifunctional SUV and emotionally appealing coupé neatly fuses intelligence with emotion.

Also celebrating their Asian premiere are the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupé, the next step along the road to even greater technical flair and more distinct looks, and the new SLC, which has undergone some major improvements in time for its 20th anniversary.

It is also the world premiere of the new smart BRABUS. With increased performance, the BRABUS fortwo, cabrio and forfour are some of the sportiest models in their respective segments.

Not forgetting some part of the development stages were carried out in modified w205 body

With previous Mercedes models they used to already start development of succeeding models a few years after the current model was introduced. As for prototype testing and spotting of mules, that is a different story.

Ouch ! new E lost to both Jaguar and BMW in the latest issue of Autocar...but mainly because it wasnt rewarding enough.

Notice that the LED can be operated only one strip from the above spy shots? I am not a fan of double strip LED in E-Class.

Won't happen, this is their only way to distinguish the E class with the rest. The double LED strip is suppose to somehow replicate the quad-eye look of E classes.
