Very nice to see the E-Classe in the standard interior spec, as the media never shows these images!

The basic screen and analog dials simply has to go, it belongs in a prototype, not in a production car.

I think that the base setup may have looked better if the analogue dials had been sunken into a more normal recessed instrument binnacle. Having these dials flush with the central screen, just doesn't work too well. The base instrument cluster does not live up to the rest of the interior, which is really elegant. The full dual screen is far more suited to the overall look.

Not very nice at all actually, because it looks almost low rent without the big screens ;)
This is the interior of all those upcoming taxis.

And the F10 is not really that dusty imo, and looks quite nice and modern next to the E class. But this is for another thread indeed.

Not to mention that ugly 'bridge' between the dials. That ruins it for me.

I will honestly be very happy to ride an e class taxi even with this spec.

Yeah I can't wait to try it myself from the backseat. When they're out, I am going to take a W213 taxi to drive me home! I won't be seeing much of the dials, no problem there.

This thread really needs to be cleaned up from all the junky posts.
Photo comparisons, photos in general needs it`s own thread. We already know what the car look like guys.

If I would buy an E-Class I would prefer the full digital cluster. But the standard one has also its appeal because its reminds me to older Mercedes clusters. I like it. :)

Haha I agree ;) - It's "very nice" to see how bad the interior can actually look in the standard trim, in comparison to the shots were exposed to through reviews and media- The f10 in the standard trim with the smaller screen option is still as appealing in my eyes, even to a full spec 5er, and that's a car that's 6 years old...

Look, wrong thread but boy oh boy that F10 design has legs!

Yes the F10 has aged remarkably well. In some ways it's fresher than the F30. It's classically clean and well resolved.

I think the w213 will prove to be the same as Mercedes has tried to recapture that clean uncluttered beauty of their past.

Thing is we've already seen the design of the E on the S and C class hence it doesn't look any newer than the F10, it's sort of an old design already.

yes the E-class is the last of the sedans to get the new design language hence why the look is so familiar at launch but you have to agree the interior is at least two gens ahead of the W212 e class.
