Luce Official - 2026 Ferrari Luce

The Ferrari Luce is the first production electric vehicle of the brand. Production: 2026-
This may be obvious but I think Shmee did bring up an important point here, and this is what ultimately stings; this car is not for us car enthusiasts. Which doesn't make any sense because it's a Ferrari. They are aiming at 80 % new clients (nu age tech geeks). That speaks volumes. Ferrari is emotion and this is the polar exact opposite.

But then again, as he said, if this car is a necessary evil then so be it. If this will let them bring out a manual NA V12 then I don't mind it. Let the Silicon Valley geeks have fun with this. And we enjoy the rest of the line up.

More details about the launch event are coming from Tim in the last section of this video:

Sounds like North-Korea. 😂
It's interesting that he shared the inside story of the whole affair

I have been told that Ferrari will not be forcing cars on to dealerships with KPI targets. Production will be extremely limited and for customers who want some Ferrari DNA in an electric vehicle.
Isn't that a bit like 1970s mafia bosses telling new Members: We won't ask you to take the life of another human being?

It will probably be an unwritten rule that if you expect allocation for the Icona series, one off models, F80xx and 12C GTO, you will hsve shown Ferrari support by ordering an Luce.

Some Ferrari owners are also business owners. They can lease the Luce through their businesses. Just tell your account how to make the math......math :p

It's also how some fund their Gumball 3000 participation. Consider it a marketing expense. A sponsorship that includes company logo on participating cars.

You rent a car just for the event and expense it all as a charity run which it is because Gumball host fundraising events in cities/countries that the rally stops in.

Luce has a huuuuge 597L boot and 5 doors. I think they will be able to sell a few hundreds to green washing enterprises.

If that is the intention? Personally I would have called it Luce as an all new EV brand. Created and developed with Ferrari but not badged as a Ferrari.
Right now it’s attached to Ferrari just as a band was stuck on the Titanic when it sunk under the waves.
The tech and design bods may get it. I don’t see the loyal Ferrarista being so compliant.

Certainly generating a lot of new memes.😆

Hey I'm not condoning it lol. Just repeating what dealers have been told will be the stock/production situation.

I tried to imagine what my ideal electric Ferrari would look like. It was fun sketching it, lol. Again, fully fictional.

I actually imagine the Luce would look something like this with a few references to the Pinin concept.. what we got instead is horrific.

It's like Ferrari was trying to build a commuter pod. This car would work as Honda or Toyota or Mazda, but as a Ferrari it is beyond bizarre. I haven't said anything until now because I was waiting for it to just go away or for me to wake up so it wouldn't be fact. I have never been this stunned by a new car introduction.

Unadulterated, genuine talent. Or @Uygar..are you a professional designer after all ;) ?

Magnificent pieces of work.(y)(y).

Something that I always look very forward to on these forums.

It's peculiar just how practical this car is. It has a three seat bench! Not a two plus two but three! Central arm rest storage are like the ones in Mercedes. Also, I cannot see cosmetic carbon fibre.

I think this is Ferrari’s Evoque! All the promo videos seem to show a woman driving it. Maybe Ferrari’s positioning it as the car a rich billionaire would gift to his second wife or mistress for the daily Pilates run.
Yupp. As practical as an Urus but less shouty than it, Purosange or the Cullinan EV or whatever it will be called.

Basically, a car for people who want a Ferrari but don't want a Ferrari. :ROFLMAO: Reminds me of when Mercedes launched the original A-Class. FWD, tall, stubby and loved by pensioners!

Complete polar opposite to an S-Class.

Indeed, it’s very practical, like an Ioniq 5, and even the doors are similar.

Even my mistress (third wife’s best friend) would find this insulting to drive as she’d prefer a G Wagon, Range Rover or Urus, just like the other mistresses in her pilates class.
