I gave all of them the exclusive grill and i think it looks gorgeous.
For my opinion a Mercedes limousine must have the star on the hood. Thats what makes it specail and unique conpared to other brands

Shouldn't we soon be seeing W214 prototypes ? And what's become of that "CLE" speculation that was making the rounds several months ago ?

Hmmm if it's not a V8 E560 or E63 I don't care what they're testing lol.

Only now have I noticed that there was no Mercedes W213 Guard. There is also no BMW G30 Security. The only armored BMW is the X5 Protection as replacement of the X5 Security, not Security Plus. No more 7 Series either. The only factory armored cars a now the S Class, X5, and Range Rover. Volvo has partnered with a Trasco for the XC60 and XC90, and Skoda must very likely also have worked with some partner for the Superb. Factory armoring must not be financially profitable anymore.

I mean the world is such a peaceful place now… ??

It looks like such a satisfying car, and that is what a Mercedes-Benz is supposed to be. Well made, quality, luxurious, technically advanced and just a sheer pleasure to drive. Once the ICEs are gone..............

Since the original thread is now locked, I will post it here.

The 213 is fantastic all round car. Smooth, quick and refined. The only negative I can say is that the ride is still a tad floaty , and I prefer the slightly tighter damping control in sports mode. Also I still prefer the font and rear styling of the original version.

Is it so floaty that it's tiring to drive briskly through twisty roads?

Actually I notice it more when driving at lower speed, over speed humps or roundabouts. It feels like the body is moving on top of the suspension and it takes that extra half a second to settle itself.

It seems to settle down at higher speeds. Haven't really push the car yet but hopefully when things opening up I will have more opportunity to do so.

Interesting. Last month I had a 60min airport transfer in a 6 weeks old E-Class. It likely had standard suspension but I didn't notice as boaty-ness like I do when driving an X5 or full fat Range Rover. Those two almost make me motion sick.

I think it is difficult to calibrate the air suspension with big alloy wheels, sometimes I do wonder if the car is better off with the steel spring suspension with adaptive dampers.

Besides this, I am still genuinely surprised by how similar the W211 and the W213 felt on the road.
