That light blue is wonderful, or are the colored lights on a plain silver?
I swear for an instant I thought it was the new S Class

The FL E-class looks really great in LWB form. The design looks really balanced and suits it perfectly with the extra rear quarter light window (ala Maybach S-class)

Is there a more powerful choice of engine or is the 2.0 turbo the only engine available for it?

Quite a good in depth review of the US spec E350 FL model

I saw this wheel in person on the new FL E this past Saturday. This is without a doubt the ugliest wheel Mercedes has ever made, and that is saying something. WOW it's hideous. Looks like they left the shipping protection on the wheels or something. It's a disgusting thing.

Yeah this is for sure the worst wheel (together with the AMG 5 spoke on the new S-class) to come on new Mercedes models. It would look so much better if they deleted that stupid ring in the center, which actually makes the wheels look smaller than they really are. Kinda reminds me of the hubcap wheels on the E34 M5. that looked much smaller than they really were.

Yes, that. I looks like a training wheels or a protective cover for the real wheel.

E 300 D 4MATIC COMES FOR EVERY E-CLASS MODEL

The largest 4-cylinder diesel variant as the E 300 d 4MATIC with OM 654 M engine may soon become available to order for every E-Class variant, i.e. for the sedan and T-model (W/S 213) as well as for the Coupé & Cabriolet (C/A 238).

Order release in mid-December 2020

Following the announcement by Mercedes-Benz, the E-Class may become available to order as the E 300 d 4MATIC in the fourth quarter of 2020. We are currently assuming an order release on December 15, 2020, regardless of the model. In terms of price, you will have to reckon with at least 58,000 euros for the new engine as a sedan, and around 3,000 euros additional for the T-model (including 16% VAT). We don't expect the coupé to be less than 59,000 euros, and the open-top E Class as a convertible no less than 64,500 euros.

195 kW / 265 PS and 15 kW / 20 PS EQ-Boost

The E 300 d 4MATIC has a 195 kW / 265 PS strong OM 654 M 4-cylinder diesel as well as an additional 15 kW / 20 PS EQ-Boost and, according to Mercedes-Benz, is the world's first diesel engine with an integrated starter-generator (ISG) and 48 Volt electrical system. The engine displacement of the revised OM 654 is 1,993 cubic centimeters, the injection pressure is now 2,700 bar. The turbocharger is water-cooled and has variable turbine geometry.

A NOx storage catalytic converter, particle filter and two SCR catalytic converters are used to filter exhaust gases. By the way, we have already driven the E 300 d variant - we have posted all the details and pictures here:

Why is Mercedes even bothering with diesel if the EU wants to ban diesels?
