Those are my favourite AMG alloys. They looks epic with a chrome finish.
 
That and the space in the lower spokes of that steering wheel. Yuck.

That steering wheel: shiny black plastic galore. What were they thinking...

Shiny black seems to be an indication of 'premium'. That's why it's being plastered all over vehicle interiors over the last 3-4 years. It's like Piano black trim. I just DON'T GET IT. How does it look any different to black plastic?
 
It doesn't and it's cheap AF for the manufacturer to install it.

Exactly, the slab of black plastic on the steering wheel is unacceptable for any Mercedes, it reminds me of the standard gloss black plastic lower centre console trim when the W213 was first launched.

This is right up there with the double fog lights that Mercedes put on the C and E a 7 years ago but quietly phased out never to be seen again.
