Where did you here this. I wouldn't have the E without it, even though it doesn't look that great.
The nontraditional looks terrible IMO.

I didn’t mean that to say no models will have it. Dealers will be stocking comparatively few luxury package models (much like now) and we’re only getting the All Terrain wagon and E63 wagon. That doesn’t leave many standard grille cars on the road.

I really wish Mercedes would just update the interiors of their cars when doing these "facelifts." The exterior of the pre-facelift model was perfect. Don't fix what's not broken.

I think it actually looks better than the A-class sedan at the back. The tail lights on the E-class are thinner and have a chrome strip connecting both lights with different graphics.

I have a feeling this FL E-class will look much better in real life than in photos or videos.

The FL E-class looks great in this video in AMG line. I didnt know they made some noticable small changes in the interior, such as the lovely frameless mirror and of course the MBUX is its party piece. Seats look for very supportive and the new AMG wheel looks fantastic.

Shit,this new front end is horrible as hell.The combination of the converted grille and headlights just don't work on this one..grille looks a little bit too small maybe..The hood shut line is out of place too,which doesn't match the grille on the corner(not going the same way like the pre FL),making the front look sad,awkward and unharmonious..I happened to spot a pre fl E53 this afternoon,man it was gorgeous,they totally ruined the frontend,like rigging many totally irrelevant pieces up together.

That car looks great. Im starting to warm to the new FL E-class, it looks best as an AMG spec for sure.

E-CLASS FACELIFT EXPECTED TO BE AVAILABLE FROM MAY 20TH

If you can't currently predict something, it's probably fixed dates. For the new E-Class as sedan and T-model, however, we are currently expecting a sales release in May - probably on May 20, 2020, instead of around a week before. The Coupé and Cabriolet for the facelift, which have not yet been presented, will be available for order almost four weeks later.

SALES RELEASE STILL IN MAY
As far as the current date for the E-Class facelift and its release for sale on May 20, 2020 turns out to be correct, the date would only have been postponed by one week from May 14, 2020. In parallel with the approval for sale of the E-Class sedans and estate of the 213 series, we also expect the CLS to be approved for sale, then probably for its year of change 20/1.

E 200 AS THE ENTRY-LEVEL ENGINE OF THE E-CLASS FACELIFT
We currently expect different variants for the motorization of the E-Class . While the E 180 with M 264 and 156 hp - without 48 volts - will probably not be offered in Germany, the E 200 will start - optionally also with 4MATIC drive and M 264 engine with 197 + 14 hp. Probably the E 350 will be the M 254 with ISG and 272 + 21 PS, the E 450 4MATIC with M256 with 367 + 22 PS.

The E 53 4MATIC + with M 256 inline six-cylinder and 435 + 22 hp will remain unchanged , although the E 63 AMG 4MATIC + will then deliver 612 + 22 hp (M 177 + EQ Boost).

On the diesel side, the facelift is offered with the E 200 d with 160 PS or E 220 d (optionally with 4MATIC) with 194 PS. In the facelift, the E 300 d will now deliver 245 HP with OM 654 and an additional 21 HP with ISG. The in-line six-cylinder OM 656 as E 350 d and E 400 d 4MATIC deliver 272 and now 330 HP. For the hybrids, we expect the E 300 e (M 274) with 211 + 122 hp - optionally also with 4MATIC - and the E 300 de with OM 654 - optionally also with 4MATIC - with 194 + 122 hp.

CLS COUPÉ ALSO COMES WITH MBUX (NTG 6.0)
Incidentally, it can also be interesting for the CLS Coupé of the C 257 series, where this model will also come with the MBUX system. It is questionable whether the system will then be offered with the coming change year 20/1 - but it is quite likely. Like the E-Class facelift, Mercedes continues to install the NTG in version 6.0, while NTG 7.0 is only presented for the first time with the facelift of the S-Class.

Also, during first test drives in January it was reported that W213 facelift will be 15mm lower. Is this accurate?

The only official data from Mercedes is that there will be a variant(likely e350) producing 272ps or 200kw, coupled with 16kw of EQ boost.

Hell yeah,it was a sacrifice of having a new rearlights as the same as the A Class sedan.
