These pics just show you that MB needs to fire whoever is handling its photo shoots for publicity. Usually you want to see the studio quality pics, but they used poor angles to capture this cars true beauty.

These real world pics really show off the car much, much better. In fact it is not even close.

I have a much more favorable impression after seeing this black and silver one.

It's like that at BMW too, imo. Press pics usually do not look good initially.

One review of the car also said that pictures do not do the car justice, especially the rear where it has to be seen in 3D. I can't wait to see it in person, especially the interior.

It´s really like you say. Don´t understand how that amount of money for press reale when real life pics looks much better.

I think MB boys just missed this time,do u guys remember C's pics? it was great:D

Finally AMG is going back to tasteful design again. IMO the E55 is prettier than the E63 and I like what I see in those photos. My projection is that the E63 will be presented in China.

I'm speechless!

I can't describe it:bowdown:

I'm loving AMGs new exhausts, not those awful massive oval quads..

Could be. China is becoming pretty exiting if this is true; BMW will launch the new V12 there as well.

I don't believe BMW sells M cars on the Chinese market? Or has that changed? V12 is much more likely then...

that must be an early tester for the AMG. No spoiler, no smoked rear tail lights. And I hope they put the power domes on the hood.
Good to see the wide body on the front.

I can assure you that AMG won't put any of that on the car. Unlike the C-class, the E appeal to conservative people who are more mature than the average M3 racing C class owner. A married family man in his late 40s would probably not want smoked tires, and a brash power dome on his ride.

Interesting pics. I wonder if the U.S. market will get this option 4-seat layout as an option. Funny arm/handrest when there is no controller.

Considering the CLS and other coupes in the US have it, I would hope MBUSA would allow this option to make it's way to the E class too.

CLS, being a coupe, makes sense to have the 4 seat configuration, but the E-class is marketed here as an upscale midsize luxury sedan, so it doesn't make sense to have the 4 seat config here. :t-cheers:

I do not see how this is the case. S classes are luxury sedans, and every S starting with the 126 has had 4 place seating as an option, including the US market. Furthermore, the 124 E had it as an option on every model, also in the US. Since 4 place will be available in Europe, I do not see why it should not be available in the US also, considering MB is trying to push the model upmarket?
