Give it another 5 to 10 years, also when sat nav data is accurate enough, within 1cm.

Still not going to work. Too many inputs, variables and dependencies.
And driving is different from flying so the risk matrix is not the same.

On the Autobahn in a 2 month old diesel Estate. The navigation failed to connect to the satellites. But my chauffeur knows the route very well, so I arrived on time.

He turned it off after it failed to acquire satellites for about an hour or so. Suspect a software reset/update or GPS antenna/cable wiring redo may have fixed it?
