^ lol yeah. Like a fan's dream GLA..
I am not so sure, the car on the shots has 21 inch wheels. It is the real deal but the wheels will get smaller, at least I think so.This is the Edition 1, obviously. I like it, but the rear spoiler is maybe a little too much.

This is probably as pointless as Audi's RSQ3 or 1 or whatever that is called.
I don't think its pointless at all. More practical than a CLA45 and better looking (read: it doesn't look like a hatchback) than the A45.
Ok I understand the part about looks, but to me anyway the GLA looks like an slightly raised A class, so now they are lowering the GLA again with this AMG version, so....I will rather have the non compromised version, which is the A45.I don't think its pointless at all. But at least the (CL)A 45 sits lower, with the CoG being considerably lower than that of the GLA 45. That's something quite important.
We are talking about an AMG model, so I'd say that handling all that power is more important than practicality.

Don't worry, both Giannis and I are engineers so we think from an engineering point of view. I still don't understand the American's dislike for hatchbacks. The more butch crossover makes the difference though. The fact that you arguing based on a logic standpoint tells it all- I'm part of the illogical, hatchback hating contingent that makes up most of America.![]()

I have no doubt the car will be successful in sales, but from a driving and engineering point of view, it is very compromised. It's not as pointless as you may think. Compact Performance SAVs are becoming the next big thing and are in demand.
In a few years the landscape will be changed and I would not bet against a mini-Porsche SAV below the Macan.
