I picked up the car 3 months ago but did not get a chance to upload some pics. So far it’s been a phenomenal cruiser and great all rounder without sacrificing the sporty qualities that one would expect in an amg. A bit of that split personality aspect is in play here. Under hard acceleration it has a nice raspy exhaust sound, the inline 6 pulls nicely and the shifts are nice and crisp with a “thud” effect to them. Love the interior it feels very well built and the designo flowing lines trim elevates it a level Imo. The feedback has been good and I’ve gotten a lot of positive random comments and inquiries. It feels a lot like the 16 s7 I had without that v8 growl but the 2 cars are pretty good substitutes. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. Threw in a group pic for good measure
The CLS53 glides on the autobahn so smoothly at high speed, pretty unreal.
That’s a Mercedes speciality, high speed stability.

Thanks bud. So I’ve had the itch to own a Mercedes again now that imo it’s “back” from the dark days. I just like what they’re doing with style, perceived quality, engines and rebuilding brand equity etc. It’s been 7 years since I sold the last amg and with my childhood obsession for my mb the time had come. Also I have worries about interior quality etc on the new Audis post diesel gate but maybe that’s just me.Beautiful car mate. Congratulations.
Any reason youd didn't opt for another S7?
What's your impression of the ride quality in the real world?
What is that color?
