AMG's current boss seems to be adamant on the 4 cylinder, despite every enthusiast telling him otherwise.There really isn’t any need for it. The CLE53 should be the stopping point. Putting a 4 cylinder over a 6 cylinder as the top of the line is just nuts.

Yes I know they sunk a lot of R&D into the P3 powertrain, but plonking into a C63 making it heavier than an S-class and wondering why nobody likes its dynamics is silly.
They should have kept it for the S63 and the GT63s 4-door with their V8 hybrids and just ate the cost.
