I have had each of these cars .. only not had a 190E

My favourite being the W205 monster C63 I had pre facelift in silver

While looking a bit generic, got to say the rear end looks quite good. Interior, besides the door panels, also looks good.

IMO the current rear light design of Mercedes is by far the worst. The triangular shape was spot on and typical Mercedes-Benz. Right now its waaaay 2much Audi. Not good.

I would say it is the least personal, since it borrows from other auto makers while also having other design features that look generic.

Having said this, I like how the W223 and this W206 look. They will probably sell very good.

From the side, the front lights and the rear lights must be somehow symmetrical, and this new C it is like the W205
Mercedes still cares about symmetrical in a lot of ways..others are not so much
" Right now its waaaay 2much Audi. Not good." if its not like audi its like lexus, if its not like lexus is like acura and vice versa etc " everybody copies everybody....thank god we passed the X has the same number of wheels like Y"
There are too much car models on this planet to try to be completely different, every part of the car to be completely different inside out ...nobody should worry about that too much because you end up at mental institution as an designer

I believe I am over the cylinder count shock. With what is being promised with the next C 63 - 550HP and 4matic, albeit 4,400 lbs - this is going to be a rocket. Likely 3s or less in 0-60 MPH (not that it matters) and near perfect weight distribution. The V8 will be missed by enthusiasts, but cylinder count is increasingly becoming a thing of the past with what the full electrics are showing in terms of power department. Will be interesting what AMG does in terms of raising the temp of the overall package, whether with the body kit, interior fitting, and exhaust tuning. They likely will seek to make a statement to silence the preliminary haters.

The numbers aren't the problem. A breathed on 4-cylinder will never equal the satisfaction of a V8 in terms of nice or delivery. A 4-cylinder sounds like it's about to die with any hard use, a v8 never has trouble returning to idle after a high speed run. For enthusiasts a 4-cylinder will never be a replacement, doesn't matter if it makes 1000hp.

A little trolling: Some people can not accept the 4 cylinder, because it doesn't have the power delivery and the sophistication of the V8. But FFS, the V8 has neither the power delivery nor the sophistication of an electric motor and by a much bigger margin.

Yeah that is trolling. There is sophistication in an electric motor's power delivery, it's either on or off.
