Really classy interior in the new C-class that looks like it belongs in a much more expensive car. I think it looks even better than the E-class interior.

Wonderful, worthy interior for a Mercedes.
It does not look minimalist at all, which is supposed to be current and its goal, beyond what it is in terms of interface, does not seem to be so at sight due to so many elements

Looks like it is all hard plastic below the wood trim and in the area where the speakers are in the doors. If so, that will be VERY disappointing.

Even if the steering wheel was made of hard plastic, I would have it.

This is my biggest worry with the interior, and it will most likely be true as well.

Some more interior pics of AMG spec version.

Air vents look really nice with the leather look top dash with orange stitching.

I hope that black trim that is one piece from the door pocket and surrounding the speaker is not hard brittle plastic.

The new Mercedes AMG C 63e 4matic + with 653 hp is currently being tested and will be available in early 2022
Jens Walko from WalkoArt managed to take beautiful pictures of the new Mercedes AMG C 63e 4matic + (W206).
As is already known, the new C 63e 4matic + is powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder for the first time. The 4.0 liter V8 BiTurbo is no longer available and will only continue to be built this year in the C-Class Coupé and Cabrio (C / A205).
The AMG E Performance P3 plug-in hybrid module and the intelligent 4matic + all-wheel drive are new. The traction is not only improved by the 6.1 kWh small battery on the rear axle, but also by the intelligent 4matic + all-wheel drive equipped with torque shift. With the 4matic all-wheel drive, acceleration times of well under 4.0 s to 100 km / h can be achieved.

The C63e 4matic + consists of the following components:

  • M139 2.0 liter 4-cylinder (in contrast to the 45 models, the engine is installed lengthways here). In addition, it is equipped with an electric turbocharger. This small electric motor has an output of around 8 hp and sits on the shaft of the turbocharger. When the engine speed is still low, the exhaust gas turbocharger's compressor wheel cannot build up enough boost pressure; the electric motor drives the shaft and thus the compressor wheel. Turbo lag is a thing of the past. As a result, the design of the exhaust gas turbocharger, which is otherwise always a compromise between high boost pressure for high peak performance and good response behavior, can be shifted more in the direction of higher boost pressure. A slightly larger exhaust gas charger (optimized for higher speeds) increases the output of the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder to 449 hp
  • RSG (belt starter generator with 14 HP) it starts the engine at lightning speed and also supplies the auxiliary units with electricity
  • AMG E Performance P3 plug-in hybrid module:
It consists of a 204 hp electric motor that sits on the rear axle drive. This 204 hp electric motor is equipped with an integrated 2-speed gearbox for perfect performance even beyond 100 km / h. The AMG Performance battery has an energy content of 6.1 kWh and 4.8 kWh usable. It can provide the peak power of 204 hp for around 10 seconds. The continuous output is 95 HP of the battery. The electric range will be around 25 km.

Mercedes AMG C63e 4matic + with 653 PS system performance

The system output is therefore 653 hp. Since it is not a P2 plug-in hybrid layout and the electric motor on the rear axle corresponds to an electric car and revs up to 18,000 rpm, the performance values of the two motors can be added in this case.
The 653 hp are available for around 10 seconds. After that, if the battery has enough power, the output is reduced to 449 + 95 hp. This means that around 544 hp are available for continuous output.

The C 63e 4matic + AMG E Perfomance will be the third E Performance model from Mercedes-AMG.
The AMG GT 73e 4matic + (X290) appears in August. The S 63e 4matic + (based on the V8 BiTurbo) will come at the end of 2021 . The C 63e 4matic + will appear at the beginning of 2022.
Shortly afterwards, these versions will also be available in the new Mercedes SL.

Wow this is going to be a great looking car, with the wrong engine. Unbelievable what Mercedes is doing here. I could have lived with a real AMG version of the I6 with 550hp.

How many articles do we need before we finally see the real car? On top of that there has been nothing new or revealing with these "information".

Some more pics of the stunning AMG spec interior.
Ja, it is a stunning interior and, just as it was with W205, the interior that you'll see way more on the internet and way less to zero in real life.
I think I saw one of those fancy interiors on a non AMG W205 once. Everything else was the standard piano black spec. It'll be the same scenario with W206.

I went onto the Mercedes German Configurator to spec up a new C-class and came up with this stunner.

C180 AMG spec in Spectral Blue Metallic with 19inch multispoke wheels c/w Seats/Door panels in Neva grey ARTICO with black stitching and Esher Brown shiny wood, full 12.8inch central screen and larger driver display and panoramic sunroof.

I like the C's design better than the S-Class, inside and out. This youthful techie look suits this car much better than the S. Lets hope the next E is not a copy of either the S or C and is once again it's own design like it was years ago.
