It just keeps getting better and better.......I love the way it looks. Can't wait until the allocations are released.

A sunroof was not an option on the W204?

The roof was complete glass in the US standard.
Hence why I said 'I'm bummed it has a complete glass roof again'. That adds weight up top. I don't mind a sunroof, but a two slabs of glass is going to be heavy. MB needs to start offering CF roofs, like the M models. I'd opt for it.

The Pano roof was only standard on the coupe, not the sedan in the U.S.

Mercedes C63 AMG “S” Model in the Works

The Mercedes C63 AMG Sedan, which will be unveiled in October, is set to receive its power from a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine that’s capable of outputting around 480 bhp (358 kW) – but that’s the standard model. LeftLaneNews recently reported that a source close to Mercedes-Benz revealed to them that there will be a more powerful “S” version with larger brakes and different interior & exterior styling.

None of the two cars will be offered with a dual-clutch transmission since Coupled with high-developement costs and the fact that Mercedes-Benz doesn’t believe there is enough customer demand for a dual-clutch transmission, neither the standard AMG nor a “S” model will be offered as such.

Check out spy photos of the C63 AMG here.

And the dealer order guides for the US reveal that it will be the 'only' roof option for the W205. Like the CLA, steel roof is standard with panorama sunroof being an a la carte option.

Saw the C today..sat in it.. and wow some things changed from pictures to reality for me.

I was never a fan of the screen.. but i accepted it..
In real life i love it..it looks fly :) ( i might be the only one that think so)

On the other hand the pictures made me belive that that the center console was really high end.. while it looks great its still not extemely nice in real life..
The car i was in had black wood or plastic perhaps..

Maybe it feels better with real wood..

But all in all..WOW..the front is very striking.. even more so than the pictures.

very well balanced car..

:)

The W205? Bold man. Is the Macan still on the table?

Yep, W205! The Macan is now off the table. Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous, and I'm sure it will be an amazing performer, but Porsche dropped the ball, offering options that would open up later in the life cycle that weren't available at launch and showing off those options on the press cars. When I placed my order, I was told I'd have it by the end of the year, then, that changed to MAYBE February of 2015.
