High-Rev Hero
I forgot to mention, I'm probably going with the Designo Mystic Blue exterior. Had anyone seen it in person? I'm waiting for word on the S, as soon as I get any info, I'll be sure to pass it on.
Yep, W205! The Macan is now off the table. Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous, and I'm sure it will be an amazing performer, but Porsche dropped the ball, offering options that would open up later in the life cycle that weren't available at launch and showing off those options on the press cars. When I placed my order, I was told I'd have it by the end of the year, then, that changed to MAYBE February of 2015.
What options were not available?
I have a small dilemma...
Why is this topic still called 2015 Mercedes C-Class , if since February you can buy one,and there are so many already on the streets...
Legend Wolf!
Have you come across any 'Brilliant Blue' photos as yet? I believe it's a new colour for the W205 C?
2015 refers to the "model year" and not the calendar year the cars were built in. Agreed, it can be a bit confusing.![]()

The C Class W205 configurator is online at the Mercedes.co.uk and what caught my attention was the emissions rating of just 124 grams of CO2 per km of the C200.
The C200 is in the band D of road tax, which means that it's exempt of road tax for the first year. After the first year, however, there is an standard rate of £105, but I know of no other petrol powered car in this class that's free of road tax for the first year.
And it's not like Mercedes skimped on performance because the C200 will accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 7.5 seconds and with a combined fuel mileage of 52 Mpg it's quite economical as well.
