the only thing that screws the interior up is that screen. have a tablet-like screen, fine, but why not choose a design that is more modern (ie a tablet with a thinner border)? other than that it is quite special

Maybe the facelift will fix the screen thickness problem, but it still the best interior in the segment..

Does it say, specifically, where the COMAND was superior to the iDrive? Ex: responsiveness of the UI, clarity of maps etc, connectivity et al?

Edit: the maps UI for the BMW looks very outdated when you compare it to the COMAND screen on the right

The next 3's interior better be a lot better. Wow, it looks so dated and screams CHEAP when compared to the C

Can't wait for the comparison tests that are coming up! But so far, in the looks department, the 3er without a doubt holds it's own. It's modern and dynamic looking next to the new C.

In the article they said that the iDrive is still better than the Comand, but the interior on the 3er feels pretty "old" compared to the C-Class's

IMO on the first pic, the 3er looks old from the outside too, the C almost looks like a concept car

From the pic it did give me a feeling that 3er is one generation behind except the screen, hopefully in person at will at least closer the gap in look department.
