C-Class (W205) [Official] Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205)

The Mercedes-Benz W205 is the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Body styles: W205 (sedan), S205 (wagon/estate), C205 (coupé), A205 (cabriolet), and V205 (long-wheelbase). Production: 2014–2021, 2016–2023 (coupé/cabriolet). Model years: 2015–2021, 2017–2023 (coupé/cabriolet). Predecessor: C-Class W204. Successor: C-Class W206.
So the real life pictures reveal this to be the C-Class and not a carbon-copy of the S as many feared. The frumpy look someone referenced is just that, I believe. I notice it in the C-Pillar and the rear box, especially.

The black sports package looks good, even the front (which makes this one of the few instances where I like the sporty front). I simply do not understand why MB has made the choice so artificially sucky: either the pseudo-sport grille with a proper sport kit, or the much-preferable-to-me traditional grille with a puny non-sport appearance.

Also, the larger galleries of pictures and especially the basic european trims (the taxis in Europe, in other words) served a much-needed service to sober me up to the reality that unless I order a top-level trim, the interior is likely to end up looking less jaw-dropping than the now-famous red-trimmed-seat sports interior. I actually find the wood interior, at least in pictures, as not suitable for the design. But, it is my opinion. The proof will be in dropping by the dealer this upcoming fall and seeing some choices in person.

Wow. That video really shows off the improved size. All I can say is that the 3-series reign is over. This car redefines the segment. Period.
