I don't need to track it. In fact I couldn't tell the difference between an electronic and mechanical
LSD, active engine mounts etc.... I can get a tune for more power for less £ if need be.
And then you see a guy on an E63s next to yours and realise that your iPhone 7 is only 16GB.Same reason why I have ordered a C 63 Coupe instead of the S.

I used the extra savings on options which I will use all the time. So I think there is an argument for a non track/ race oriented buyer, hence the non S. My take on it.
Congrats! My friend has the C63 -- I've driven it, for a smaller car with that much power, both my friend and I agree it is frightening! He also has a Huracan which is a much heavier car, he says he is more scared driving the C63 sometimes when he guns it haha
Turbo then Turbo sOk, so you are digging into the S vs RS story. What about the 911 and 911 S? Or the Turbo and Turbo S. Also, some Audi RS cars are going to have the same engine as S cars in the future. Your point here?
Finally, if you are to get pissed off as an E63s owner worrying that your S version won't get noticed, you have seriously shallow "keeping up with the Jones's" issues. Any Mercedes officianado will be able to tell them apart anyway!
If i ever have Pagani, i won't care about a man who is quicker in a $130K Mazda. I have Pagani - he has some electric shit. But it's got really nice taillights which is about all an E63 will be seeing. BMW, Audi and MB all need to step up their games (the supercar makers too). If I was in the market for a fast saloon an E63 or M5 is no longer the obvious choice. Plus I've heard from many people that the interiors of Teslas though not quite up to Merc stardards, are very good.
P100D does 0-60 in 2.7 seconds in the RAIN, uses no gas, basically drives itself, and goes 500 km on a charge...and all we get in response from the competition is more boost and more gears? They're wasting their R&D money.
Imagine if Ferrari were to release the 458 and 458 speciale at the same time that just wouldn't make sense at all , why would anyone buy the 458 if the speciale is the better car of the two ?
Well add that to my list then. With the Audi example, you're missing the obvious comparison. The RS 6 and RS 6 plus. Same engine but tuned. 560hp and 605hp.
Oh that crackle and pop coming out of the exhaust...it's just orgasmic....LOVE IT, inside out...Handsome looking beast on the outside, absolutely class on the inside....To top it off, 612 bhp and a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds... I want all that in my life, RIGHT NOW!!!
And then you see a guy on an E63s next to yours and realise that your iPhone 7 is only 16GB.
There is no point in buying a C63 or E63 and not going for the best. Just buy the S version.
Hey! It was just a joke) Congratulations on such a monster! No it's a concious decision to buy what I am happy with.
If you can afford an E63 - you are already among the best)Am I right in saying that the best is subjective.
Turbo then Turbo s
GT3 then GT3 RS
458 then 458 speciale
Aventador then Aventador SV
RS6 then RS6+
M5 then M5 CP
M3 then M3 CP
GTI then GTI Clubsport S etc
Do you see the pattern ? None of these cars are released at the same time ... It's always the standard version followed by the more powerful focused version.I have no problem with whether the engines are shared or not.Imagine if Ferrari were to release the 458 and 458 speciale at the same time that just wouldn't make sense at all , why would anyone buy the 458 if the speciale is the better car of the two ? So why does AMG do this with the E63 and E63s the weaker and stronger version at the same time. This is a really stupid , just give us a E63 with 612hp than a E63s with 640hp later on.
Sorry that I can't reply to your last part I have no idea who the Jones's are.
Hey! It was just a joke) Congratulations on such a monster!
I cant see any differentA comparison I made:
AMG vs Avant Garde
