WHAT? You are kidding, right?

The front isn't bad at all..

Clearly I'm in the minority here, but at the very least the front looks interesting. It definitely is a very polarizing design but I'm quite tired of seeing safe, conservative, handsome designs. Call me crazy I guess /:

Everything coming out of Ford, Buick, Chevy, Honda, Toyota etc. is just so boring and similar these days. I feel like even BMW/MB/Audi/Porsche are starting to make vehicles that are supremely handsome but aren't very "special" or "different" anymore.

The respective marques are all coming out with better looking vehicles, no question, but somehow on the road it's just all uniform and uninteresting now.

Dramatic it is. That's for sure. :D

Well optioned this is going to undercut the X1, and I find it more attractive than the Macan. Can't wait to see the palette, know that a dark grey close to the concept will work, not sure about other colours.

My eyes just hurt. Ouch. The stance is nice but the details are as high as a kite. Completely overstyled.

Lexus has chosen some of the worst colours in this reveal. It's an angular car, and white hides all of the angularity. The overall shape is not something to write home about. I understand why they use a grayish silver for the second one, it at least in some ways approximates the show car, but they should have gone with a darker colour.

When you see a dark gray, or a black, you may find yourself appreciating some of the angularity. Or then again, maybe you won't.

It grew on me a bit, but its still very bad. What this thing compete against?

I suspect pricing will pit it directly against the X1. It's RAV4 based, and at the top end it's constrained by the RX..so perhaps low $40K if you start going crazy?

A poor man's Lamborghini URUS :)

Looks like some better colour options than the RX..Is that a green I see third from left?

Side DLO is way, way too shallow. Doesn't make for the most pleasant of driving experiences. Have car makers forgotten that windows are actually for seeing out of?

I like this car, and would consider it for my lady and as a family car. When I showed her the pics her response was, "Haven't I told you I don't like cars with that squished window look?". Yes, it is a glaring error, in-spite of my enthusiasm for the overall design.

Edit: Perhaps because these are targeted to urban consumers there is more of a desire for a silo effect, bunker type isolation from the urban jungle, rather than engagement? Or they could just be blindly following an impractical trend?

Kids in the backseat are either watching headrest mounted DVD screens, or they're on their phone/tablet. What the heck do they need windows for? To look outside? ... o_O
