that screen is terrible, but I have to chuckle at the need to add the analog clock because, you know, that's what will class things up. Jeez.

That screen looks like such an afterthought with that ugly clock just plonked into that empty space. The pre FL model interior actually looked quite good but this is just plain bad, why did Lexus have to spoil it

The interior looks very dated and I bet it still has the same craptastic infotainment system, doesn't it?

Exactly. Pre-FL, the interior was positively interesting, visually and tactile-wise. Their biggest blindspot was/is their infotainment. While this is an attempt to right the wrongs, a medicre attempt, but an attempt nonetheless, it just highlights such a glaring oversight when developing their vehicles.

It's actually quite a stylish car on the road and has a lot of presence, but that interior is the nail in the coffin for Lexus. They seriously need to poach new interior designers that will bring some much-needed innovation, true luxury, and style to this top liner. It's way behind the German competition in this respect.

wish they didn't facelift it, keep it the same at least and work on the next generation.

The screen is much worse than before.

Interior door panels are still the best part of this car.

Just test drove the 2020 model year when my GS-F was in for service. Didn't get much time behind the wheel, but I liked it.
The demo car didn't have most of the features I want, HUD, air suspension, massaging seats, but the ride was comfortable enough for me on the roads around the dealer.
The Lexus Enform, I'm already used to and didn't bother with. The shifter will definitely need getting used to. The heated seats/steering were a warm welcome coming from GS-F, but like everyone knows, they're buried in the infotainment screen, though they fixed it for this 2021 model year.

I asked when the facelift will go on sale, the salesman riding shotgun, pretended he didn't know anything about it. I'll probably wait till December and try them again.

Living in middle east, we are used to driving and riding Lexus cars, I would say the same for Americans. Probably much less Lexus users in Europe.

Lexus has unique feel of refines in their cars, they are always comfortable and isolated from the outside even small Lexus (IS for example), also they are very reliable and durable cars. Recently, I find their cars boring and outdated specially from inside, I don't know what happened but they lost their mojo.

The newest LS is a huge disappointing form me, specially when I was one of those who adored the LS430 and saw it even better than S class and 7er at that time. I predict that soon Genesis will overtake Lexus from its throne as the car who can compete with Germans.

Still a very interesting, high quality car. The recent news on Lexus is saying that there is another update coming for the LS. I can't wait to see what this. I really like this current update. I'm worried about their being a new generation though.

The exterior design is always pleasing from Lexus, but that interior is just so dated. With the new NX they finally introduced a new interior design and the details are much nicer as well, I hope they will update their other models soon, then the cars will be without question - outstanding in every way.

the interior isn't dated, in fact I think its the best in the class the only thing holding it back is the tech.

It's borderline gorgeous in this video.

For my opinion the LS is the coolest car in this segment.
I would go for one if it had a V8
+ its really sad how they placed the new display
Everything else is just gorgeous and so quality made. Specially when you see it in person and sit in it.
Also his little brother the ES, such a cool car (but unfortunately only with 2.5 4-cylinders in EU, so sad)
