LC (Z100) [Official] Lexus LF-LC Confirmed for Production as LC 500

The Lexus LC (model code Z100) is a grand tourer manufactured by Lexus. Based on the 2012 LF-LC Concept, it replaced the Lexus SC. The LC is the first Lexus model to utilize the GA-L platform, which, along with other components, is shared with the full-size XF50 series LS sedan. According to Lexus, the name "LC" stands for "Luxury Coupe". Production: March 2017 – Model years: 2018 -
Lexus needs to introduce the LC F in 2019 to keep the car from going stale. A roadster version of both the 500 and the F should also be introduced to keep the line fresh. See what Mercedes is doing with the AMG GT line.

A LS F would be nice too. All F model with a twin turbo 600hp V8 would heavenly with Lexus' bulletproof reliability and service.

100%. Halo cars need freshness to attract new buyers who didn't opt for the first model year. Furthermore new variants encourages factory orders as opposed to deep pocket buyers buying pre-owned cars.

^^^Say what you like about Lexus but their interior designs and quality are top drawer stuff just look at that they put some Germans to shame. I’m one of the few that also happens to like their exterior designs. Where Lexus falls short is in their powertrains and performance.

Wow that interior colour scheme is very bizarre but I kinda like it. The quality of the materials used in this LC look fabulous and probably are better than alot of German rivals. I really have a soft spot for this car and would love to own one.

I partially agree. But where they score plus points in my opinion, is that they are the only one to have a glorious naturally aspirated V8.

Agreed. One of the major attraction for me especially with an aftermarket full exhaust. One can argue about weight, but powertrain is where they always earn the most accolades.

They also fall short in their infotainment and user interface. I am actually a-ok with their NA V8 and their TT-V6 in the LS I competitive enough. Their other engines and hybrid system are old as time.

When is LC-F supposed to come on market? I think 've read it will have 4.0 l v8 TT engine with over 600 hp.

The LC is one of the most under-rated cars on the market. It feels more special than the price suggests and the build quality is even better than the S coupe.
