IS/RC [Official] Lexus RC Coupe

Good review. Though, "understeer like a limo" is a huge stretch. I push mine (carbon fiber. TVD) very hard on-limit and I can easily get the tail to power-oversteer with no hint of understeer. Only issue I have are the soft sidewalls Super Sport tires. They fixed it quite well with the new '20 RCF-Spec Sport 4S tires with stiff sidewalls, which is what I am planning on getting.
Aren't soft side walls good for drifting?

I believe stiffer rear sidewalls will make the car tend to drift more and make the front of the car sharper, more responsive and with a faster initial turn-in. Softer sidewalls on RWD front and back make the car's rear grip harder due to more "bite" in turns, but the front is prone to more understeer as transitions and steering response is not as fast. Hope that makes sense.

In my case, I feel the rear end has a lot more grip than the front. This is also in part for more negative camber being available in the rear than the front. The front camber has very limited negative camber adjustment available mostly between - 1 and 0 degrees, but the TVD makes up quite a lot for relatively lesser grip up front by adding more torque to the rear with motors adding more rotation, which makes the front end turn in quicker/sharper and more consistent.

That guy is a clown. 4200? RCF officially weighs 3950 lbs (compared to 3780 lbs for track edition). He makes up stuff as he goes.

Do you have a source on the weight

Which one? These are all official Lexus press release curb weights. I also own an RCF carbon/TVD so I have all of the documentation on it.

pre-2019 RCF: 3958 lbs
2020 RCF (non-carbon): 3900 lbs
2020 RCF (carbon/LSD): 3850 lbs
20202 RCF track edition: 3780 lbs

Because the reviewer was talking about track edition being officially 3780 lbs, it is relevant to compare the official curb weights (177 lbs weight difference).

Pre-LCI RCF- 4060lbs

Might have confused it with the GS-F.

Even the GSF weighs well under 4200 lbs. Probably in the 41XX lbs depending on whether it has a moonroof or not. RCF around 4000 lbs or under depending on the options selected such as with the carbon fiber/TVD. I believe the lightest was the base model RCF with LSD and no options on it, which was around 39XX lbs.
