The body looks nice, and the rear is awesome.

The front is awkward;the headlights are too slim to accommodate the wide stance of the car.

Will wait for hi res pics before making my final opinion about this car...

Looks very nice too.. Waition for official specs.. the indtrument cluster display seems to be directly taken from the Concept car.. it seems nothing has been changed..

The funny part of it is that in a short period of time many important car manufacturers unveiled their new/ first (some even mid-engined) supercars trying to get a piece of the cake. I'm talking about the Audi R8 V8/V10, Nissan GT-R, MB SLS and now Lexus with the LF-A.

I'm risking to turn this thread into a "Everyone vs BMW Board of directors decisions" war, but I have to say, that only BMW is missing from the fun. Mercedes had many years to make a sportscar at this money-range, same goes for Nissan. Audi and Lexus have just entered the game for the first time. And so far they are all successful!

The GT-R is eating Porsches for breakfast, the R8 is the best everyday supercar, the SLS is a stunning beauty. BMW should be present even with a green eco-supercar. They are late, no matter the nature of their halo-model.

Kudos for them for bringing a high rev V10.

Engine specs are insane but I'm disappointed in Toyota for ricing out the exterior design. The exotic and elegant appeal embodied by the concept has completely been washed away, front-end looks too much like a Supra So it's too little too late. 0-100km/h in 3.7 sec isn't impressive by today's standard. The facelifted Turbo, F 458 and Mclaren MP4-12C will eat it for breakfast. Still looking forward to performance around tracks as Toyota have worked on this car for some years now, so it should be highly competitive.

LOL just what I expected from Lexcrap. A complete F*up of what was a beautiful concept. Can they ever get anything right designwise. C'mon seriously. It's not that hard. The final outcome is far from beautiful and looks completely amateurish. Their 'design studios' must seriously be the joke of the Automotive world.

Wowwwww, it's such a beautiful car. I'm in love with it, probably even more than the GTR. Let's see how it will stack up with the GTR though.

Me likey. Front end is a bit odd but you can say that for all the super cars today - 458, SLS, Mp4/12C. The engine specs and the weight is impressive. But at the same time you also realize what an amazing Ferrari did with 458 unit, it beats this is every way with the same displacement and 2 less cylinders.
