Revuelto [2023-] [Official] Lamborghini Revuelto

The Lamborghini Revuelto is a mid-engine plug-in hybrid sports car. It was officially unveiled on 29 March 2023 as a successor to the Aventador. The Revuelto’s namesake is a Spanish fighting bull that fought in the arena of Barcelona in the 1880s.
Quicksilver does tasteful and nicely toned exhaust. I have heard an M140i with quicksilver in person. This revuelto one is spot on and what OEM should have sounded like. Viceral but not over the top. Obviously the Aventador sounds better but this is the world we live in. Even the 12clindri with an after market exhaust has a tone that’s less arousing than an 812 with an equivalent exhaust.

The Lamborghini Revuelto, enhanced by Novitec, is a masterpiece of precision and performance. The striking Novitec NL5 Forged wheels perfectly complement the car’s aggressive design, while sport springs lower the stance for improved aerodynamics and sharper handling. A bespoke Novitec exhaust system unleashes the raw power of the V12, delivering an unforgettable soundtrack through its four signature tailpipes. Every detail is crafted to perfection, ensuring the Revuelto stands as the ultimate expression of Novitec’s engineering excellence and dedication to automotive individuality.

Geez. V12 engines have been nerfed. Why does this, the Purosange and 12Cil sound turbo charged even with a novitec exhaust? They don't sound as heavenly as the 812 with novitec exhaust.

Regulations.

A different exhaust can only do so much.....

It's tragic that even with race cats the exhaust note is neutered.

If I was to own a V12 with an aftermarket exhaust. I would want the car to sound like Satan's alarm clock:

I dunno. It would drive me nuts after a few days and I would hate the negative (for the most part) attention.

Because of the idiots who produced way to much noise in the cities.

Including pops and bangs, that’s why cars in Europe became very quiet.

The new generation of cars closes the valves at 20mph and opens the valves between 50 and 62mph and more than 70% throttle.
Sports exhaust are street legal because they’re as loud as standard in these speed areas , outside of these speed areas, they can be much louder.

The soft limiter was introduced, because otherwise they measure the noise level at 4500rpm while the transmission is put in N.

BTW I got these are informations from my dealer who asked AMG, why the new cars are much quieter than before. At higher speeds they are still loud.

Many aftermarket exhausts are valved. Novitec also offer the options of sports or race cats depending of how loud you would like it.

Aren't most exhaust or even car modification products sold as "For track or private land usage only"
Sometimes yes, but with a ECE confirmation (which is usually engraved in the exhaust), there’s usually no problem.
I guess the next step will be the addition of a new chip which reduces the revs of the soft limiter.
