I've got alot of time for Hennessey as I'm sure your aware. But when the hell is the 300MPH run happening? It looks like this year is gone. Texas gets hot really hot and the car needs to be run really now?

Then you think we'll Bugatti's already done it so does it matter? To be honest I'd rather (perhaps) see a 0-400-0km/h run instead.

What do you think?

Already have her broken in past 500 miles. Best daily driver super car ever. Bar none. I wrote this on F chat earlier today:

Another beautiful day another top down drive. 55 and sunny. Car stays warm in the cabin. Very comfortable in sport. Track not necessarily less comfortable just feels more firm but in no way jarring. Pretty spectacular. Steering gets very heavy in track mode. Not sure I love that. The engine sounds phenomenal. The pull feels very 458/458 speciale in nature. I'd suspect the 60-130 times are very similar to my speciale. Maybe just slightly ahead. Car sounds better than the Ferraris.

I'm even more entrenched now in my thoughts that this is the ultimate daily super car. I wouldn't have an F8 over it. The sound is such a huge component that any improvement in performance the F8 offers is rendered meaningless. Plus the tech is night and day. It's really got everything you could want in that department. What a special car.

I parked and took the 765 out immediately. 765 performance is another level. I did a 40 MPH in second gear pull on a straight bit of road in each car. Corvette hit 108 mph Mclaren hit 130 mph lol. The Corvette is a car that while driving it gives you a sense that it sacrifices performance for the sake of the driver enjoyment. Via engine sound, heated/ac seats, great stereo, comfortable seats, etc. The Mclaren feels like sitting inside a machine with the ethos of, you're going to get from A to B as quickly as possible, whether you like it or not (I do enjoy it). Very different. Both fantastic.

Interest Z06 anecdote. I took my Dragy in the car in an attempt (failed due to traffic) to get some performance testing on it. The speedo is literally bang on. 90 on the draggy reads 90 on the speedo, etc. In my 765 the speedo is about 2-3 MPH ambitious above 70 mph. My last Ferrari was a little more ambitious than my 765 and lambos have notoriously the most ambitious speedos, sometimes as much as 7-8 mph off above 150 mph. Something to keep in mind if you see a side by side speedo comparison of a Z06 and another car, particularly a Huracan.

Nice.

Don't forget to post the 0-60 times(Dragy) once you test it.

Chevrolet is an American automobile division of the manufacturer General Motors (GM). In North America, Chevrolet produces and sells a wide range of vehicles, from subcompact automobiles to medium-duty commercial trucks. Due to the prominence and name recognition of Chevrolet as one of General Motors' global marques, "Chevrolet" or its affectionate nickname 'Chevy' or is used at times as a synonym for General Motors or its products, one example being the GM LS1 engine, commonly known by the name or a variant thereof of its progenitor, the Chevrolet small-block engine.
