"Along the way, the Chiron scorched from 0-100km/h in 2.4 seconds, 0-200km/h in 6.1 seconds, and
0-300km/h at 13.1 seconds and reached the magic 400km/h mark in 32.6 seconds."
32.6- 13.1= 19.5 seconds for 300- 400km/h.
Incredible numbers for such a big beast.
Except>
186- 248MPH (can't get 0.5MPH on their GPS)= 14.826 frame by frame off the screen linked GPS for 300- 400km/h.
19.5- 14.826= 4.674 seconds quicker! A privately owned example!
Ofcourse I'll check the numbers again. But still it's impressive. And Johhny Bohmer confirmed this from memory in the comments that it was quicker than the Ehra-Lessien record car.
Work out the 0-400-0km/h now if it'd of achieved the same verified times.
(41.96- 4.674= 37.286 seconds.)
I'd LOVE to see the standard 1500hp car do a two way average or even just a single pass without the limiter!
You think Bugatti hasn't? Andy Wallace has definitely driven a speed unlimited example. In the days leading up to an even quicker and faster one, LOL!
Watch the 2015 National Geoghraphic Channel Bugatti documentary. They HAD the tyres maybe not 300MPH, but this car could'nt do that speed anyway.
