If I had truly unlimited funds this would be my brand. I love it. Unfortunately they are limited :/

Since there's never going to be a 4, 5 is a non starter.

Director/co-writer Robert Zemeckis and co-producer/co-writer Bob Gale are the gatekeepers of the franchise. They had it written into their contracts for the series that further sequels or a reboot couldn't be made in their lifetimes without their approval.

Look at the torque figure! Also that's NOT a Bugatti Chiron Supersport per se, it's one of the prototype's as the exhaust is the standard Bugatti Chiron fare! LOL!

Is that power at the wheels?

"Have you ever seen a Bugatti Chiron on a dyno? Neither had we. A quick search finds a few of the Veyron, but nothing on the Chiron. When our friends at The Hamilton Collection inquired about doing it we were intrigued but was there a reason no one had done it? The factory claims the Chiron makes 1500HP but is that some fluff number to impress automotive outlets? The answer is NO! This car impressed us making 1369whp and 1163tq bone stock on 93 octane. And it makes this power with such grace both quietly and uneventfully."

That's from the above video's YouTube description. That's a very very strong Bugatti Chiron indeed. Because if you factor the transmission losses back in the numbers become incredible!:)

"Along the way, the Chiron scorched from 0-100km/h in 2.4 seconds, 0-200km/h in 6.1 seconds, and 0-300km/h at 13.1 seconds and reached the magic 400km/h mark in 32.6 seconds."

32.6- 13.1= 19.5 seconds for 300- 400km/h.

Incredible numbers for such a big beast. Except>

186- 248MPH (can't get 0.5MPH on their GPS)= 14.826 frame by frame off the screen linked GPS for 300- 400km/h.

19.5- 14.826= 4.674 seconds quicker! A privately owned example!

Ofcourse I'll check the numbers again. But still it's impressive. And Johhny Bohmer confirmed this from memory in the comments that it was quicker than the Ehra-Lessien record car.

Work out the 0-400-0km/h now if it'd of achieved the same verified times. :)

(41.96- 4.674= 37.286 seconds.)

I'd LOVE to see the standard 1500hp car do a two way average or even just a single pass without the limiter!

You think Bugatti hasn't? Andy Wallace has definitely driven a speed unlimited example. In the days leading up to an even quicker and faster one, LOL!

Watch the 2015 National Geoghraphic Channel Bugatti documentary. They HAD the tyres maybe not 300MPH, but this car could'nt do that speed anyway.

"During the test drive, he will check not only the personality of Centodieci but also for any almost-imperceptible discrepancies, only obvious to someone with Steve’s deep knowledge of Bugatti. The amount that noise from the road and suspension is isolated from the cabin or even the subtle sounds of flexing leather and carbon fiber that change with the temperature and humidity. Each must pass the high standards required by Bugatti.

This work is taken to its extremes on the closed runway of a local airport. Centodieci accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds to a top speed of 380 km/h. High speed slaloms, emergency lane changes (‘Handling’ mode) and emergency braking are all tested in complete safety to ensure that even at these speeds, and subjected to intense conditions, Centodieci is honed until flawless. Dynamically perfect in every way, and completely safe and stable for customers."

Etc. Continues in the link.
