I think white is the weakest colour as the busy fog light surround and mesh takes attention away from the headlights and grille.

A little less/toned down front bumper and it would be perfect, but still as is it's a winner. Can't wait to see it in person.

With the White colours the issue I have is with Shadow line or indeed the full aluminium,chrome,cerium trim is too heavily exposed that it looks like a Fiat that had Sport with a chequered flag in large italics along the bottom of the car. Which if anyone knew it was not sporty but very much fake advertising.
The same goes for The 7. Chrome etc on the M Sport on Alpine White or indeed any other colour is a definite no-no.
Spot the difference. When everything is Black.

Stop showing the M-sport, or whatever that abomination is. It looks horrid! I'm a single individual who can't fathom why he would need a vehicle like this, but in the Luxury packet specification I can't keep my eyes off of it. The M-sport is vomit inducing. Are these people blind?

M sport front bumper isn't too hot indeed, but the front bumper of the M50d is amazing.

I saw two X7's today here in Cape Town. They are doing a film shoot for it outside the High Court. Absolutely breathtaking. Both were Arctic Grey with Pure Design Excellence. This is my new dream car. It looks much smaller and sleeker than the photos suggest. Sorry, I couldn't get any pics, I was literally just staring at them in amazement as they drove past me.

Each to the own but I'm a sucker for multispoke alloys and think they give the car an upscale and luxurious look not projected by the 5 and 6 spoke. Obviously the 3D 5 spoke alloys really suit the blue/grey X7 50i above.

Don't get me wrong, I also like multispoke alloys, in general, even though I think they suit sedans better because visual load of the metal body is lower then.
What I don't particularly dig here, is the 'flat' execution. This is (more or less) the only detail that I like better about the concept.

You forgot the word "coated". As we discussed earlier, that's metallized plastic.

As of now, I would have to rank the X7 in standard attire as the current best looking Large luxurious SUV on the market.
It is rather majestic and grand with minimal bling-bling. I would definitely skip the M-package on this one not because I don`t like it. I feel it is not needed. The cab-back design is classic/ has great balance and looks good from every angle.
