The BMW X1 is a line of cars produced by BMW since 2009. A subcompact luxury crossover class, the first-generation X1 was based on the E90 3 Series and offered rear-wheel drive layout as standard. The second-generation X1 marked the switch to a front-wheel-drive-based layout using the UKL2 platform shared with the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and the Mini Countryman.

I know the X1 is not a Toyota LandCruiser for sure!
Be honest...in terms of suspension and components how 'heavy duty' is the X1 Chassis? I would not appreciate an X-Drive vehicle to have rattles etc. after a drive on a fairly good dirt road - if you know what I mean.
This brings into question the build quality in terms of rigidy overall???
PS: I don't drive on dirt roads that often - say 2000km max per annum.
They are good dirt roads - and frankly my X6 has been to the dealer to sort out rattles in the door panels and boot trim....I never go off-road with my car, otherwise if I did I would bid BMW farewall and buy a Land Rover. So, good dirt road - not that often....COULD THE X1 HANDLE IT?
