8 Series (G15) [Official] BMW 8-Series Gran Coupé (G16)

The second-generation of the BMW 8 Series consists of the G14 (convertible version), G15 (two-door coupe version) grand tourers, and G16 (four-door "Gran Coupe" sedan version) executive cars (E). The G14/G15/G16 generation has been in production since 2018, and is often collectively referred to as the G15. It replaced the F06/F12/F13 6 Series lineup. Production: 2018-
Looks like a regular saloon with it’s larger greenhouse. The rear is heavy in appearance as well. Other than that, it’s nice.

Yep. The rear is ungainly from the side view and it looks too long from the side also. That said, I wasn't taken with the 6GC when it came out but after seeing it in person things changed.

Looking rather soulless compared to the great concept BMW gave us.
Frankly, I am not taken by the production design too much at this point.

I am not going to be too harsh/ Press photos are on the dull side.

You are comparing it with the concept but of an M8, black windows, bigger wheels and all the goodies included.

The car itself is the same toned down a little, equaly high back, the kink and the roof line.

A bit of an anticlimactic presentation. The launch vehicle, while fundamentally sound in its' exterior design, displays elements that seem to veil the possibilities of what this automobile could really be. The discerning car-affine public has been served elevated diner fare rather than authentic haute cuisine. Perhaps the maestros at BMW Individual can produce some delicacies that are far more than simply "rather tasty", but undeniably monumentally delicious instead. Scrutinizing the car in a real life environment may appease. But for the time being, I cannot seem to even remotely muster the enthusiasm that I experienced when the F06 was first presented. But I DO, so far, prefer the 8GC to the AMG X290 GT 4 door. On the other hand, I understand that an Audi S7 Sportback will be priced some 8000+ Euros below the 840i GC and I personally find the S7 an attractive car. And despite the Porsche Panameras' lofty price and perhaps "questionable" exterior design, its' interior (simply cannot be reproached) and intrinsic capabilities place it in a class of its' own.

The red configuration is my favourite of this four. It looks classy and luxurious.

Yep-the red example is "on the right configuration track". The intricate flank tendon lines are highlighted as opposed to on the matte-painted cars. Promising.

...and it's a large car. 5082mm in length, 1932mm (!) in width and 1407mm in height. Those are impressive dimensions for a car of this segment. Indeed, it is a "MUST SEE in real life" automobile, I reckon.

The wheel body ratio looks comical in this picture: so small. Very strange sensation Im getting with this car. Not great, not bad...I don't know

You done fuc#ed it up BMW!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: In some of the pictures it looks like a 6 series GT. Overall its nowhere near as good looking as the 6 series gran coupe. (n)(n)(n)

I think this is one of those cars that look good without the sport package. Dark colors also hides some design flaws.
