8 Series (G15) [Official] BMW 8-Series Gran Coupé (G16)

The second-generation of the BMW 8 Series consists of the G14 (convertible version), G15 (two-door coupe version) grand tourers, and G16 (four-door "Gran Coupe" sedan version) executive cars (E). The G14/G15/G16 generation has been in production since 2018, and is often collectively referred to as the G15. It replaced the F06/F12/F13 6 Series lineup. Production: 2018-
Not as pretty as I thought it would be but better looking than anything in its class.

Looks are very subjective, but I have to question anyone’s taste who reckons the AMG GT is better looking than this.

@Matski

Amazing, as always.

Quite surprised how far forward the A7’s windshield is!

It’s a big car to say the least - looks like the most practical out of the bunch (in terms of leg space/wheelbase)

Wow front overhang on the A7 is shorter? WTF BMW?

I think this more a well done for Audi than a WTF for BMW. They clearly could have given the 8-er a shorter front overhang, since it could fairly easily match that of the F90 (as above).. it'd probably just look a bit weird... now it look long and low... not stubby and weird.

Color me stupid, maybe i've missed it in pics or pr, but where the f did shark antenna disappear?:t-hands:

No shark antenna on the 8er Coupé either, nor on the Cabriolet naturally. Just like there hasn't been any on the previous 6er range.

Never on BMW’s big coupes, you n00b :p

..or the 6er before the last. And it already was a thing during that period.

While I understand why the 2-door won't get the V12, the GC screams for it.
Absolutely, like I said in the past, this is one variant of the 8er that is screaming for it. If BMW can justify a V-12 in the 7er, then it makes absolute sense that the 8er GC gets a V-12 regardless of if we are going to get an 8er GC M.
