4 Series (F32) [Official] BMW 4-Series Coupe

The first generation of the BMW 4 Series consists of the F32 (coupé version), F33 (convertible version) and F36 (five-door liftback version, marketed as 'Gran Coupé') compact executive cars. The 4 Series was created when BMW spun off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the 3 Series into a separate series. Production: July 2013 – September 2020
Then 428i should be called 420is? doesn't matter man, numbers didn't really mean the capacity since a long time ago. E46 323i had a 2.5L engine, E90 328i had a 3.0L engine? numbers mean level of output nowadays.
If the numbers mean level of output then why do 35d and 40d models both have the same output (313hp)?

^Too true and sort of pokes a finger in the eye of the "output" indication.

Now back to the car itself, I've looked but I haven't noticed whether adaptive suspension is offered.

Klier, your a moron:D

Betty, you happen to own two of my favorite VAG products. And I honestly know you are a BMW fan at heart;)

As it happens, I wasn't thinking of Klier at all. We may have had our differences but I don't ever recall him calling me a VAG fanboy. :D

The 3er is Glacier Silver and the 6er Gran Coupe is Moonstone.

Titanium Silver is now discontinued.

Thanks for saving me ten minutes by posting this answer for me. Why people feel the need to post when clearly they have no idea what they're talking about is beyond me.

Can someone do a comparo? It seems like the 4-Series is pretty light.

I’ve already done this a week ago just after the 4 Series was launched! I posted the stats comparing the 3 Series Coupe (E92), 4 Series Coupe (F32) and the latest 3 Series saloon (F30). I spent half an hour for the benefit of THE FORUM. It’s on page two of this very thread.

But that didn’t come out right format wise, so I highlighted the key points here:

Key points:

428i (F32) is 20kg heavier than the 328i (F30), which is odd because the E92 coupe was lighter than the saloon equivalent.

435i (F32) is 15kg lighter than the 335i (E92).

420d (F32) is 30kg heavier than the 320d Coupe (E92) and the 320d (F30).

435i xDrive with auto gearbox does 0-100km/h in 4.9 secs.

Well there is a improvement admittedly

Not on the 420d there isn't. It's 30kg heavier than the outgoing 320d Coupe (E92) and current 320d (F30).

On a good day. An M3 will match a 911 lap for lap?

If this continues to be true, this is how I will judge this 4 series. It exists as a homologation (sic) of the M3/M4 that is to come and preserve that legacy. It looks like M department was involved early in the development of this product. If the fully developed M4 can still match the glorious 991 that everyone's been raving about then. I'm happy with the styling compromises.

The design certainly doesn't raise the bar, like the A5 did. And the weight savings do not distinguish it.

If the M4 is a wet noodle, then that's really it for BMW and performance associations.

^I doubt the M4 will be anything other than brilliant, heck I'm willing to bet with its wider track F&R and lower CoG even the regular 4 will be quite special.

This car is indeed in perfect harmony with my senses:)

Looks great, he can probably sell a few sets of them, unfortunately these headlights aren't even xenon units.
