2 Series [Official] BMW 2 Series (F22) Coupe

The BMW 2 Series is a range of subcompact executive cars (C-segment) manufactured by BMW since the year 2014. The 2 Series was created when BMW spun-off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the BMW 1 Series into a separate series.
It's because they use a computer generated model that can move in a 3D enviroment. And because everyone has to be able to see it with crappy Macbook Pro video cards (or something similar), the graphics are low end..
It's simply no real car.

Yeah, but the "3d" model is really lame; in only two angles the camera altitude may be altered. Is this maybe the worst configurator in the business? I can't even remember how many times I have logged on the BMW site with a thaugt of a car in mind, only to find my rose-tinted thaught dragged in dirt by the less than flattering configurator. "Hrmm... maybe a 420d could be an alternative? Let's see... woha! Nope, that's just hideous..." I have to remind myself that "this is not how it looks, relax..."

I still, honestly like the 2er's styling more than that of the 4er. The 2er has a BMW-ness to it that embodies much of BMW's excellent design history. The 4er is however more...elegant, and should be. Choice between the two coupes will based solely on personal taste and not just market placement IMO.

Such a yummy design the 2er and a icon in the making ;)

The nose on the 4er looks terribly deformed next to 2er which is undoubtedly has the nicest front in the family. Only the outgoing X6 has the same level of beauty.

They're different, but both look very good.

Nicest front, nicest side and nicest rear imo. 2er is perfect BMW design.

I would go for a 2er without a question, but the 4er is lovely too....the only thing I dislike about the 4er is the boomerang vent. Which is ironic becauce that vent is perfection on M4. The regular 4er vent should have been on the character line as well. Not randomly floating on the place it has now, and not to mention it's shape.

i think it's the nicest of them all now because it's the only (bar the F20) that doesn't have a joined light-grille front, and somehow I always think that the F30 has a front that is too edgy. And the emotion of this looks nice too, the F30/F32 looks extremely deadly which isn't bad, but I like this softer character more.
Having said that, how many do you think the LCI of this thing will get the joined light-grille? To me the shape of the headlights, especially the edge leading to the grille, is a huge hint that it will be joined with the grille in LCI.

I give it 5%. It's the same as the 5er and 7er; don't mess with a winning design. If they wanted a joined 3D grille, the car would have gotten it.

Lightweight body panels, tuned 4 cylinder, LSD? I fear not, I think the 1M is going to remain the more desirable of the two.

I'd say the 1M is the car to beat. Scott's render gives hope for something that could really challenge/pick up where the 1M left.
