What a spec

Matte black on any Bentley doesn't do them any favors. Bentleys need to shine. That's part of their allure. In general, matte black looks pretty terrible, but it can work on bodies that are more angular like a Lambo or a Lexus LFA or even to a lesser extent, the current M3/4. On the FS, with its rounded lines and sparkly lights, it'll look unfinished.I don't know what it is, but I've completely done a 180 and completely soured on Bentley's current styling since these cars debuted. A matte black Flying Spur passed me a couple of days ago and I was repulsed.
I think you'd be the only Bentley owner with that much mileage.^ absolutely gorgeous looking car. Perhaps I could buy one in stead of 2 S class and drive it double the time I usually drive them. Would it last for 500,000-600,000 kilometer?
It's the first time I have heard someone remark that the front overhang on a car is too short.

I saw this last Sunday. They carefully avoided to talk about the weakest parts of the Maybach, like the abundance of black plastic in it’s interior, the look and feel of many parts (like seat adjustment unit and the steering wheel). As a matter of fact, the cockpit of the Maybach was hardly shown. This is quite a good comparison of high end luxury cars. Mercedes Maybach S680 vs Bentley Flying Spur W12
This particular Maybach with the white stitched leather was probably the best and most flattering spec for this car but I agree with you there are certain things in the interior (same as S-class) that put it in a lower level than the Bentley. It has too much ugly shiny black piano finish plastic on the center console and doors, it actually grates me that they didn't use wood or metallic material for those areas like they did in older Mercedes models. Why has Mercedes Benz got an obsession for black shiny piano finish, when so many people don't like it. The seat memory switches are also black shiny cheap-looking plastic whereas the Bentley has metallic switches everywhere which looks so much higher class and probably great to touch.I saw this last Sunday. During the whole show I was waiting for them to point out the greatest difference between Maybach and Bentley (interior quality) but, except for leather and stitching, they didn’t. It was far from being a balanced comparison.
While it fits in the current cost cutting state of mind of MB. And although called Maybach, it's like @Merc1 said, at the end of the day it's only an S...Why has Mercedes Benz got an obsession for black shiny piano finish, when so many people don't like it.
