Because it gives the car the same proportions as a crocodile, cayman or Porsche Cayman. It's a familiar shape that appears in nature. But now whenever I see the car (in a picture) I think the snout is too long. Why ?

Maybe like a hippopotamus ?? Yes, the Porsche looks a bit that way (like a cayman). But the Audi does not.Because it gives the car the same proportions as a crocodile, cayman or Porsche Cayman. It's a familiar shape that appears in nature.
Pissgelb. Or maybe diabetes yellow ?! Costs probably a lot extra, see the front grill in the same color, etc.Name of the colour is gelbpiß.

The Audi Singleframe connects the cooler above and below to form a unit. But: what to do if an electric vehicle no longer has a cooler? How do we show that it’s an electric car and still an Audi? My team had an idea that was as simple as it was ingenious: The single-frame grill on an Audi with a combustion engine is always black because it is open and ventilates the radiator behind it. With the Audi e-tron, the single frame is optically inverted, always in the body color and framed in dark. From a distance you can tell like this: It’s an Audi, but it’s an electric vehicle. The single frame turns an Audi into an Audi. Also an electric Audi. “

This will remain true for many charging station. Some won't be able to supply 800kW to several cars concurrently. And if you can use a charger that delivers 270 kW, but most chargers offer only 150 kW or even much less.

The grid might not cope, hence why Tesla has a huge advantage in being able to install battery storage at super charging stations to help with load balancing.
Saw the car live today. To be honest I'm not feeling it. It's a bit of a design mess. The fact it was a grayish blue color did not help.
Ok, the Front is great, but the overall feeling I got is that design wise the tried a half way between a RS7 and R8 4door look and it didn't really work. And second of all it's very muscular, with sharp lines like all audis now, but then again it's rounded at the back, the rear lightbar is shaped like a banana just showing the roundness even more instead of emphasising width. When I saw the front in my rear view mirror I got very excited. After I saw it from every angle I was like "meh"
Yes, there is simply a bit too much going on in terms of the eTron GTs' exterior design. While I do continue to find the car immensely eye-arresting, there are certain elements applied that leave me contemplating: "Less could have been quite a bit more". An example: While I realize that the front wing air outlets serve a function, they are eyesores.
I also think that doorhandles ala Porsche Taycan would have been less flow disruptive, air as well as eye-wise. And the large reflector segments under the taillamp band could have been a bit more shallow and less blocky. And save the 21" plastic-aeroblade inserted versions (those featured in Dougs' video), I don't care for the rim designs. All in all, I prefer the Taycan, which in-the-metal, is simply drop-dead gorgeous..
It's like they tried to do a 1st gen R8 a 4 door and adding as much details as they could think off.

Beside the looks, also the price comparison between these two is very interesting. Looks like the Audi won't be a bargain. For similar prices very few customers would chose the Audi before the Porsche, IMHO of course.I remain quite inconsistent in my opinions regarding the eTron GT/Taycan comparison. Should a well-produced, well-presented video appear with a nicely configured example, the eTron GT can seriously swoon me. That being said, I have yet to see one in-the-metal or in a real-life environment. Maybe that will enable me to make up my mind and draw some kind of cohesive verdict. So far, the Taycan has yet to fail to immensely impress me. And I've experienced the Taycan in the metal and have spent a few minutes inside of one. In addition, the Taycan is selling very well here in my region of Germany and is becoming an increasingly common sight on our roads.
I will say this: VAG has, IMHO, a stranglehold on the looks department in this elevated 4 door sedoupe segment. Taycan 1# with the eTron GT the runner-up. Or is it the other way around ?
How cute that R8, a masterpiece the old and the new even more
