The new A4 looks in real life more impressive and better than at pics. I had to change my opinion about this car after I have seen it the first time in Frankfurt.

I am impressed by the Audi A4 interior although I have yet to see one in real life to judge the exterior styling and as well as sit inside to judge the quality of the interior but so far its not a car that bowls me over, it looks too conservative.

I don't think it's conservative. I think it's sharp and modern whilst portraying a mature design language. I think it will look even better on the road.

Now that the new A4 has grown on me, I'm very sure that it's quite conservative.

The looks from the B8 are carried over, yet with a few sharper corners (mainly the lights).

What is not conservative, though, is the interior, which has gone the extra mile (just like the C) and appears to belong in a much more upscale product. That, I applaud!

There is a comparison in AMS between A4 3.0 and BMW 330d. Overall winner is Audi.
With better interior space feel and interior quality. Better brakes and better safety equipment.
Close score in driving comfort. BMW with better driving dynamics such as handling, steering and driving fun.

I saw the new A4 today. In fact I was driving right behind one. The rear is surprisingly round. I almost mistook it for a facelifted A6 C6.

Beating on a dead horse isn't my kind of thing but blimey the car is underwhelming. The interior, comfort, engines, features or price must be amazingly good because I can't think of why someone would say forgo the C-Class, 3er or even the IS for the "new" A4.

Yes it is and it's a clip on hub cap, which is very easy to steal.

The hubcap design reminds me of some 70's Talbot. It's a step back many decades, at a time when the hubcap design of most of the A4's competitors is more than acceptable.

It just forces you to pay for alloy wheels...

Does anyone know what engine does Audi offer for the new A4 in the U.S next year? Is it the 190hp turbo I4 that produces 45mpg or the powerful 252hp turbo I4 that produces 33mpg?

Those hubcaps are hilarious, but that interior is still as good or better than a lot of cars.

The interior is the usual Audi good just like the exterior but both are very familiar. The interior is a warm and inviting place. However the horizontal A/C slots are a bit 1960s style IMO and looks a bit odd. Overall its a good design but IMO the C class interior is much better, and also much distinctive from the earlier C models.
