There are rumors that the front lights will make an angle in the lower part where the LEDs will be. Something like this one:

The new A4 will be worth the wait believe me. At least wait a couple of months to see it before you decide.

Of course there is also the new C class which looks great (and drives great like the first tests say).

I think it will be something mixed up from the A5/S5 and the Roadjet Concept.

You're damn right. I pray to god that it ends up looking like that and if it does the C-class with AMG-kit will have itself a pretty good competitor in the design department.

Sorry guys but that design is not coherent with Audi's latest design language.

Apart from that the new A4 will have very small glasses and the shoulder line will be raised. That way it will look more sportier and aggressive that the competition.
For example BMW in the 3 series has a low shoulder and big side glasses making the car look less sporty and more like a family car.



Audi will take a different road. Some even go one step further and say that the B8 A4 will look like a four door coupe.

You're right Yannis. Hucklefeldt's chop do contain a little too many "old" design elements. The orange impression is probably the best looking one and is bound to look even more slicker with S-line styling.

Does anyone who was on thé European Dealer Meeting at Marbella have anything to share about the new A4 B8, how did it look like? Anything like the Huckfeldt pics?

Why don't we see any Audi mules, testing new A4? I think this is the time when we already should get some spypics because end of the year 2007 is pretty close (for automobile industry). Or is just Audi so good at hiding this test mules... That kind of spypics are very rare so I'm a bit confused if the new A4 will really be introduced this year...

Or is just Audi so good at hiding this test mules... That kind of spypics are very rare so I'm a bit confused if the new A4 will really be introduced this year...

Forget about seeing the B8 A4 anytime soon, neither will you see it at Frankfurt. It is a very important model for Audi and if it was to be launched at Frankfurt production ready cars wearing little camo would be on the roads by now. I'd say the car will be launched at earliest at the very end of this year. With important models like this mules with heavy camo are often rolling on public roads in places like northern Sweden, California and around Europe at least a year prior to launch. Although many manufacturers use their secret test tracks for early testing nothing can replace tests in real life environment.

This is how I see it:
Frankfurt: RS6
Detroit or Geneva: B8 A4 + Q5

You're probably right. It's better for Audi (and also future customers) not to rush with A4 B8.

Coincidentially when BMW are shooting a so far unmentioned model in Cape Town in June , Audi , Mercedes-Benz , Peugeot and er... Hyundai are all in town at the same time.

B8 A4 test mules have been out there for a while. In fact cold weather testing has taken place in Sweden for the past winter and also hot climate testing has been conducted in Death Valley in Nevada.
The mules were camouflaged to look like B7 A4s so that's why we have so few spy shots.
