Those wheel arches were actually inspired by the Audi UrQuattro:i was thinking what inspired audi to go for these wheel arches and it made sense that the bmw e30 m3's look exactly the same..

I sincerely hope not, the german power war is becoming ridiculous, rather than spending millions on increasing power, i prefer to see huge efforts made on descreasing weight like Ferrari is planning to do with their next supercar.
Well you and I already know Mercedes is willing to play, the question is BMW willing to join the party. I wouldn't be shocked if the next E63 had over 650hp!

I'm not sure how I feel about all this hp. On one hand I agree with you, all this hp on anything other than exotics is outrageous, but on the other hand it's pretty cool how you can teach some young punk in his new Mustang or whatever a lesson with the wife and kids in the car! I'm kinda leaning towards the latter of the two!

The impeccable RS6 develops 426kw at 6500rpm and 650nm of torque, all of which is available at 1500rpm from its twin turbo V10. This enables the RS6 to launch from 0 - 100km/h in 4.6 seconds. A pure race bred ‘dry sump’ system ensures an enthused driver can throw the RS6 into corners at up to 1.2 G in lateral force without starving the engine and turbo compressors of vital oil lubrication.
