The Alfa Romeo Giulia is a compact executive car produced by Alfa Romeo. Known internally as the Type 952, it was unveiled in June 2015, with market launch scheduled for February 2016, and it is the first saloon offered by Alfa Romeo after the production of the 159 ended in 2011.

Yes Alfa have got a figure of 7:39 around the ring for the new Giulia QV 510PS.

I couldn't find anything on youtube but they had this comical video from BMW stand after Alfa announced the 7:39 time in Geneva show.
It wasn't Geneva but Frankfurt...
So, do you think that with a similar rear wing, roll-cage and diet the Giulia QV can be even faster than the M4 GTS?

Well anything is possible considering the M4 GTS is 15 to 20sec faster than the standard M4 around the ring, so if the Alfa is on a slight diet and even more hardcore it could get close to the M4 GTS time.It wasn't Geneva but Frankfurt...

This marketing BS claim holds absolutely nothing. That car doesn't even exist yet, it's pure hype.
Indeed, so much is possible that my prediction will be an Alfa time on the Ring similar to the regular M4 (non GTS, non soon to be released Competition pack). Similar, and possibly slower.

All the manufacturers performance cars use the Ring time as marketing BS, its to give the middle finger to the competition if they are better. That car has already been revealed, specs and all, just we are waiting for the official drive launch.
Most times the tested AS/AZ Supertest Ring times are slower than the hyped up figure (with hopefully a backing video to prove that hyped up time) so the Alfa could be as fast as the regular M4, although it will be surprise if it really is faster. From what short video I did see of the Alfa, it looked very impressive around the Ring, body control, speed in and out of corners etc the car seemed well suited to the Ring. Well lets wait and see when AS and AZ will do their Supertest on the Alfa Guilia QV

LOL at the 4C....a carbon fibre, purposely built monocoque, with about 50% less weight than their hatchback rivals, dct, specially designed suspension from the go, and yet gets soundly beaten by the Civic R, Megane and Leon Cupra, cars much heavier, with manual transmissions, and with family hatcback origins. In the case of the Megane, torsion beam suspension in the rear. Pathetic, to say the least.

Just try to find a better official Nurbrugring lap time for a car w/ just 240 hp, or less, and electric windows.
Also, it's Horst von Saurma at the wheel of the Alfa 4C and no Ferrari factory motor-racing driver like Gianmaria Bruni, for instance. Can you see the difference between a factory motor-racing driver and a motor journalist like Horst von Saurma:

There is no Alfa lap time yet. Stop making up stuff.
BTW, did I mention the Klier-mobile I just built? I am going to issue a press release later in the week with an official Nring lap time. Will be around 7:25 min. And yes, it's a 5 seat sedan without roll cage. A roll cage is overrated anyways. Adds extra weight and who needs safety in a track made monster that's road legal? All you need is power windows and an airco.
The 4C is not a car but a joke. A lovely joke but that's it. Either way, my mate Gianclaudio explained it perfectly, no need to add anything to that subject.

The point is that Alfa Romeo claimed a 8:04 min. lap record in Nurburgring for the Alfa 4C (a full second better than the 981 Cayman S driven by the very same Horst von Saurma in SA's Supertest, mind you) and then showed the vid which confirmed just that; in a similar fashion Alfa Romeo will certainly show the 7:39 min vid of the Giulia around the Nurburgring, as they claim (not me).

Actually, they all were intended to be toys that I could have fun with, mainly, on my daily commute.
The fact that the Alfa 4C does it better than any of the others can't just be a coincidence, nor a product of my imagination... I really daily drive it (as I've done with the others)! So, I should know better, right?!
Maybe the young racer in me just feels that this is the closest he will ever get to a racing car everytime I drive to the work, home, or whatever the destination might be.
Beyond this, there's only two conflicting choices: 1) either you loose that motor racing atmosphere OR 2) a race track is what will ever satisfy you. It all depends on how young and rich that racer spirit is.
The fact that the Alfa 4C does it better than any of the others can't just be a coincidence, nor a product of my imagination... I really daily drive it (as I've done with the others)! So, I should know better, right?!
