I think if that happens, there will be violent riots on the streets, such an act is sacrilegious. The Maserati brand is perfect for a sports luxury suv. Ferrari is well above that.

I think a lot of the investors/share holders have complete disregard to what makes Ferrari so successful today...the intangibles have just as much value, but all they see is just another profitable company which needs to be milk dry.

Its a good looking car but they need to show some confidence in marketing it as well as show some honesty.

This car is nothing more than an a hallucination at this point. I would bet that it doesn't go on sale here in the U.S. until towards the end of the year. No way it is going to be here by June and the quality be correct. They need to take their time because the publicity of a failed crash test from NHTSA or whomever will really hurt.

So apparently Marchionne confirmed the production of the LHD version will start on March 14 t his year.

It breaks my Alfa-loving heart, but I have to agree. And not only the 2nd production year, but I'd have to see how they'd fare in independent crash tests.

This sucks. I was hoping to picking one up second-hand in 5-6 years.
