Man, you do look anxious with such a lenghty post. Relax, all will be good! I know, I daily drive a 4C.
I can see the expectation is off the roof now... but that's what the marketing is there for.

There's a point all that goodwill will run out. With that said, I can understand people's suspicions about the N-ring time as a way to keep the Giulia in consciousness.
I was getting the impression that in this forum all people cared about was the regular Joe's JTD M-jet Giulia version...![]()
The "regular joe" versions are more important than the Quadro versions, mostly because its their sales volume that will sustain Alfa's existence. I am excited about the Quadrofoglio as well because I am curious and confident it will hold its own, especially with expertise from Ferrari's engineers. What annoys me as an enthusiast and a potential future Alfa owner is the constant announcements and the eventual delays that seem part of FCA's business practice. Posting record times and performance figures are nice, but when the on-sale dates keep getting pushed back, there's bound to be backlash.
They can always re badge the Ferrari engine in the Torro Rosso as Alfa, or re brand the Hass F1 team in the future. And yesterday Marchionne released an interview telling that Alfa is considering to come back in Formula One (2017-2018).

BMW M4 GTS Nurburgring time: 7:28 minutes... is there any evidence of that lap time?!
